FRIDAY, JUNE 8, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/31/12 at 4:54 p.m., Richard A. Denny, 30, of 29 Salisbury St., Sandy Creek, NY, was charged with No Inspection Certificate and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree (revoked, four times on three dates, for failure to pay), following a traffic stop on Main Street in the Village of Mexico. Mr. Denny was issued tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Mexico Court on 6/12/12.

 

On 6/06/12, Nicholas Kellogg, 26, of 78 Kellogg Rd., Hannibal, was operating a 1997 Chevrolet southbound on CR 21 in the Town of Hannibal at 6:23 a.m. when he reportedly drove off the roadway and struck a parked, unattended, 2007 Ford pickup truck registered to Lisa J. Crysler, 49, of 3197 Sevier Rd., Marietta. The incident occurred 150 feet north of Durbin Road. The truck was parked in a driveway off the west side of the roadway facing west at the time. Reportedly, a pedestrian, Jeffrey D. Crysler, 21, of 3197 Sevier Rd., Marietta, was standing at the passenger door of the truck during the collision. The impact caused the truck to rotate clockwise 90 degrees and come to rest facing north. The Chevrolet continued south overturning into a ditch on the west side of the roadway. Pedestrian Crysler was struck by the truck’s open door causing him to be thrown to the ground. Driver inattention appears to have been a contributing factor with Mr. Kellogg reportedly using the radio just before the incident, deputies said. Mr. Kellogg was issued a ticket for Crossing Official/Hazardous Road Markings.

 

On 6/07/12at 3:30 p.m., Justin D. Guyette, 20, of 500 Red Schoolhouse Road, Fulton, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Second Degree, a class D felony, stemming from an incident that occurred during February, 2012, during which he allegedly caused extensive damage to the interior and exterior of his former residence, from which he was evicted following a foreclosure. Mr. Guyette was arraigned before the Hon. James Aluzzi, Town of Volney Court, and released on his own recognizance.  He is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Palermo Court on 6/25/12.

 

On 6/07/12 at 6:30 p.m., Karen J. Steadman, 33, of 706 Clark St., Fulton, was arrested for Criminal Trespass, Second Degree, and Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, both class A misdemeanors.  She is accused of returning to her former residence located in the Town of Volney and causing damage to the property to gain entry.  Ms. Steadman was arraigned before the Hon. Patricia Kerfien, Town of Volney Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.  She is scheduled to return to court on 6/18/12.


THURSDAY, JUNE 7, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 6/03/12 at 6:33 p.m., Joseph M. Barbera, 22, of 213 Leitch St., Apt. 3W, Fulton, NY, was served a Criminal Summons issued by Town of Granby Court charging him with Harassment, a violation. The charge stems from an incident that took place on 5/06/12 when he allegedly struck a female in the face during an argument that occurred while they were inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of a Town of Granby residence. Mr. Barbera is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Granby Court on 6/11/12. 

On 6/06/12 at 8:55 a.m., Honnelee E. Gibbs, 33, of 107 Cedarwood Dr., Fulton, NY, was charged with Speed Over the State Speed Limit and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (suspension 1/26/2012 for Failure to Answer a Summons from the City of Fulton), following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of Hannibal. Ms. Gibbs was issued tickets returnable to Town of Hannibal Court on 6/26/12 and released to a third party.

On 6/06/12 at 8:01 p.m., a 16 year old male residing in the Town of Constantia was taken into custody based on a Family Court Warrant. Arraigned before the Hon. Donald Todd, the youth was remanded to the Hillbrook Detention Center where he will await a return court appearance on 6/07/12.

 



WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/26/12 at 10:45 p.m., Leon R. Bartlett, 77, of 513 Seneca Street, Fulton, was operating a 2009 Jeep suburban north on SR 48 in the Town of Granby, ¼ mile south of Wybron Road, when the vehicle reportedly veered off the roadway and struck a culvert then became airborne, rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof.  Mr. Bartlett was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.  He was issued a UTT for DWI with a return to Town of Granby Court on 6/11/12.

 

On 6/5/12 at 2:00 p.m., Laura L. Lombardo, 56, of 40 Kenyon Road, Mexico, was arrested for Petit Larceny following the investigation into an incident that occurred on 10/20/11 at the Port Lodge Motel in the Town of Richland where she allegedly stole cash out of one of the rooms.  Ms. Lombardo was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Richland Court on 6/25/12.

 

On 6/5/12 at 8:04 a.m., Patrick R. Danquer, 32, of CR 14 Bldg. 316, Fulton, was arrested for AUO, third-degree (suspended on 11/6/11 for Failure to Pay Summons in T/O Clay) and Inadequate Front Plate following a traffic stop on South Granby Road in the Town of Granby. Mr. Danquer was released on UTT’s, returnable to the T/O Granby Court on 6/25/12.

 

On 6/5/12 at 11:00 p.m., Melissa D. Medlin, 27, of 8820 SR 104, Hannibal, was arrested for Trespass following the investigation into a domestic dispute on Maple Ave. in the Town of Volney where she allegedly entered the a residence after being asked not to.  Ms. Medlin was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Volney Court on 6/18/12.


TUESDAY, JUNE 5, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 6/1/12 at 9:03 a.m., N E Goodsell-Sgroi, 73, of 108 Chestnut St., Fulton, was operating a 2004 Honda south on SR 481 in the Town of Volney, ¼ mile northeast of Owens Rd. overpass, and Raymond M. McEwen, 53, of 6693 SR 31, Durhamville, NY was operating a 2000 Ford also south on SR 481 when the vehicles collided as Mr. McEwen attempted to pass the Honda. A passenger in Mr. McEwen’s vehicle was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.  Failure to yield the right of way seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 6/2/12 at 6:41 p.m., Erik W. Francis, 24, of Main St. Bldg. 3186, Mexico, was arrested for DWI, Aggravated DWI and Failure to Keep Right following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of New Haven initiated after he was reportedly observed drifting into the eastbound lane and over the fog line then over the center line four more times. Mr. Francis was issued UTT’s, returnable to the Town of New Haven Court on 6/21/12.

 

On 6/4/12 at 9:00 a.m., Ashlee A. Ryan, 20, of 111 West Broadway, Fulton, was arrested at the OCJ for Petit Larceny; Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, fifth0degree, Forgery, third-degree; Criminal Impersonation, second-degree and Identity Theft, thir-degree, all class A misdemeanors stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Palermo on 5/22/12 where she had allegedly had been stolen a television from a residence, brought it to a local pawn shop and used a victim’s ID to sell the television. Ms. Ryan was arraigned in the Village of Central Square Court by Hon. Judge Avery and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $500 cash or $1000 bond for the Petit Larceny charge with a return to the T/O Palermo Court on 6/11/12 and a bail set at $1500 cash or $3,000 bond for the other charges and a return to V/O Central Square Court on 6/20/12. At the same time, Ms. Ryan was arrested based on a warrant issued out of the Village of Central Square Court by Hon. Judge Avery. She was arraigned in the V/O Central Square Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $1500 cash or $3000 bond with a return to V/O Central Square Court on 6/20/12.

 

On 6/5/12 at 3:45 a.m., Edward W. Babcock Jr., 49, of 76 Liberty Street, Oswego, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana following an intoxicated person complaint in the Town of Scriba on SR 104.  Mr. Babcock was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 6/21/12.

On 5/31/12 at 11:30 p.m., William J. Hurley, 70, of 34 Keller Rd., Central Square, was reportedly pushing a disabled 1994 Nissan pickup backwards off to the side of the roadway when it rolled down an embankment causing property damage at 13 Kline Rd. in the Town of Schroeppel.  Mr. Hurley was issued a UTT for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.


MONDAY, JUNE 4, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/23/12, Freeman G. Howell, 88, of 14 Chesbro Road, Central Square, was operating a 1982 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Chesbro Road in the Town of Schroeppel at 12:39 p.m. when he reportedly failed to negotiate a curve ½ mile north of Bell Road. The bike exited the east side of the roadway before coming to rest on a lawn located at 384 Chesbro Road. Ms. Howell was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Unsafe speed appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident.

On 5/29/12, Andrew J. Bono, 22, of 4033 Libra Lane, Liverpool, was operating a 1999 Oldsmobile eastbound on West Broadway in the City of Fulton at 12:08 p.m., when he collided with the rear-end of a 2002 Ford suburban that was being driven in front of him by James R. Sivy, 58, of 2013 SR 104A, Sterling. Mr. Bono was issued a ticket for Following Too Closely.

On 6/01/12, N.E. Goodsell-Sgroi, 73, of 108 Chestnut Street, Fulton, was operating a 2004 Honda southbound on SR 481 in the Town of Volney at 9:03 a.m. when she collided with a southbound 2000 Ford driven by Raymond M. McEwen, 53, of 6693 SR 31, Durhamville. The incident occurred ¼ of a mile northeast of the Owens Road overpass as Mr. McEwen attempted to make a lane change from the driving lane to the passing lane causing both vehicles to impact each other’s front end. Cora J. Leonard, 59, a passenger in Mr. McEwen’s vehicle, was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Failure to yield the right of way appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident.

On 6/01/12 at 1:33 p.m., Paul P. Merluzzi, 33, of 3817 Split Rock Road, Camillus, was charged with Operation While Registration Suspended (insurance lapse on 08/15/11) and Fictitious Inspection Certificate, following a traffic stop on CR 1 in the Town of New Haven. A License Plate Reader reportedly targeted Mr. Merluzzi’s vehicle as he drove eastbound on CR 1. Mr. Merluzzi was issued two traffic tickets and released to a third party. He is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of New Haven Court on 06/14/12.

On 6/01/12 at 6:20 p.m., a 17 year old male residing in the Town of Volney was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a domestic incident during which he was accused of causing damage to items in the home. The youth was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Volney Court on 6/21/12.

On 6/02/12 at 1:20 a.m., Alicia L. Hughes, 38, of 111 Distin Road, Fulton, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol. Ms. Hughes had reportedly initiated a complaint with regard to an unrelated matter and while a Deputy was responding to a Town of Volney residence to meet with her and take her complaint, he found himself driving behind her. Upon pulling into the driveway and exiting the vehicle, a subsequent investigation found her to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. Ms. Hughes was issued tickets returnable to Town of Volney Court on 6/25/12 and released to a third party.

On 6/02/12 at 9:00 a.m., Robin L. Johnson, 49, of 502 S. 6th St., Fulton, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Third Degree, a class E felony; Assault, Third Degree, a class A misdemeanor; and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a domestic incident that occurred at a Town of Palermo residence. Ms. Johnson was issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Palermo Court on 6/04/12. She is accused of causing physical damage to the home that she attempted to enter. She reportedly broke a window while attempting to enter the residence, then struggled through the window with a resident who was inside the dwelling, all while in the presence of the resident’s minor child. Two residents suffered physical injury during the incident.

On 6/02/12 at 10:28 a.m., Ruben Guillen, 28, of 10138 4th Arm Division Drive, Ft. Drum, was charged with Operation While Registration Suspended (insurance lapse on 5/06/12), following a traffic stop on West First Street in the City of Oswego after a License Plate Reader targeted his vehicle as he drove eastbound on Utica Street. Mr. Guillen was issued a ticket returnable to Oswego City Court on 6/28/12 and released to a third party.

On 6/02/12 at 10:29 a.m., William B. Raymond, III, 31, of 22 W. 11th St., Fulton, was arrested based on a warrant issued by Village of Central Square Court charging him with Grand Larceny, Third Degree. Mr. Raymond was arraigned before Village of Central Square Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 

On 6/02/12 at 4:55 p.m., Clark L. Hamilton, Sr., 60, of 70 Allen Rd., Parish, was arrested for Criminal Contempt, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an incident that occurred on 6/01/12 at which time he reportedly entered the property of individuals named in an Order of Protection. Mr. Hamilton was issued an appearance ticket and will appear before Town of Parish Court on 6/12/12 to answer the charge.

On 6/03/12 at 12:32 a.m., Zachary D. Hemingway, 22, of 786 CR 35, Mexico, was operating a 1992 Jeep suburban southbound on SR 69 in the Town of Mexico when he lost control 2/10 of a mile south of Kenyon Road. The vehicle left the west side of the roadway and went sideways re-entering the roadway in a perpendicular direction, then overturned, sliding on its roof. Unsafe speed and driver inattention appear to have been contributing factors in the incident. He was reportedly changing a CD at the time of the incident. Mr. Hemingway was issued a ticket for Crossed Official/Hazardous Road Markings. 

On 6/03/12 at 10:00 a.m., William B. Raymond, III, 31, of 22 W. 11th St., Fulton, was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an incident that occurred on 5/29/12 at the Wal-Mart store located in the Town of Granby when he reportedly left the store with a pool cover without paying for it. Mr. Raymond was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Granby Court on 6/11/12 and turned over to members of the Corrections staff.

On 6/03/12 at 10:00 a.m., William B. Raymond, III, 31, of 22 W. 11th St., Fulton, was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility for Criminal Impersonation, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from the investigation into a traffic stop that occurred on 5/20/12 in the Town of Granby. The investigation revealed that Mr. Raymond, who was a passenger in the vehicle at the time, had given a Deputy a false name to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant held by members of the NYS Police. Mr. Raymond was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Granby Court on 6/11/12 and turned over to members of the Corrections staff.

On 6/02/12 at 10:00 a.m., William B. Raymond, III, 31, of 22 W. 11th St., Fulton, was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree (7 scoffs on 4 dates: Failure to answer a summons on 3/08/1998 in the Town of Brutus, Cayuga County; Failure to answer a summons on 4/17/1998 in the Town of Mentz, Cayuga County; two suspensions for failure to answer a summons on 7/16/2007 in the Town of Sullivan, Madison County; and two suspensions for failure to pay a summons on 4/23/2010 in the Town of Schroeppel, Oswego County); Unlicensed Operator; and Criminal Impersonation, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor. Mr. Raymond was issued an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets returnable to Town of Schroeppel Court on 6/12/12 and turned over to members of the Corrections staff. The charges stem from a traffic stop initiated on 5/21/12 in the Town of Schroeppel when Mr. Raymond, the driver of the vehicle, once again intentionally misidentified himself reportedly to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant held by the NYS Police.

On 6/03/12 at 6:18 p.m., Amanda Smith, 33, of 22 W. 11th St., B-3, Fulton, was arrested for Criminal Impersonation, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (3 suspensions on 12/03/11 for Failure to answer a summons in the City of Syracuse and five suspensions on 6/03/12 for Failure to answer a summons in the Town of Volney); and Inadequate Muffler, stemming from the investigation into a traffic stop that occurred on 5/20/12 in the Town of Granby when she reportedly supplied an officer with a false name. Ms. Smith was issued an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets returnable to Town of Granby Court on 6/11/12. Ms. Smith’s true identity was revealed on 6/03/12 when the same Deputy that initiated the traffic stop on 5/20/12 responded to take a complaint from Ms. Snith into an unrelated incident.

On 6/03/12 at 6:37 p.m., Desiree M. Birmingham, 18, of 71 Hong Kong Road, Albion, was served a Criminal Summons issued by Town of Albion Court charging her with Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, stemming from an incident that occurred on 5/14/12 when she was accused of slapping a woman in the face during an argument. Ms. Birmingham is scheduled to appear before Town of Albion Court on 6/18/12 to answer the charge.
