Police Blotter Report:
Brittany M. Collins, 21, of 1620 Huntington St.,
Apt. G4, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at
2:42 a.m. Monday at her residence with endangering the
welfare of a child. According to court documents,
"she allowed herself to become highly intoxicated,
causing her to pass out, while she was the sole caretaker
of her infant child. Patrols had to gain entry into the
apartment and wake her due to her level of
intoxication," at about 1:20 a.m. Monday. She was
being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building
on $500 police bail pending arraignment in City
Court.
Aimee L. Cooley, 41, of 15793 County Route 3,
Clayton, was charged by state police at 1:14 p.m. Sunday
in the northland lane of Interstate 81 in the town of
Sandy Creek with aggravated driving while intoxicated
under Leandra's Law and speeding 80 mph in a 65-mph zone.
Troopers said she was intoxicated while driving with an
11-year-old boy as a passenger. Her blood alcohol content
was unavailable Monday. Leandra's Law makes it a felony to
drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol with a child
15 or under in the vehicle. She is summoned to appear in
Sandy Creek Town Court.
Glenn M. Huggins, 59, of 109 Spring Ave.,
Watertown, was charged Sunday night by state police with
petit larceny. He is accused of stealing $27 worth of
Ensure nutritional supplement on Oct. 8 from Walmart,
Route 11, town of LeRay, troopers said. He is summoned to
appear in LeRay Town Court.
Lamar A. Perkins, 24, of 309 Mill St., Apt. 208,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:00 p.m.
Nov. 11 at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with
fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony. It is alleged Mr.
Perkins stole a gold necklace with a cross pendant and
pair of earrings worth approximately $1,500 belonging to
Chassidy Macon from a hotel room at Holiday Inn Express,
1290 Arsenal St., at about 3:30 a.m. Nov. 3, police said.
He is also accused of selling the jewelry at the Immediate
Case for Gold kiosk in the Salmon Run mall. He was being
held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $750
police bail pending arraignment Monday morning in City
Court.
Walter Green Jr., 30, of 25914 Red Tail Lane, Evans
Mills, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies
at 11:56 p.m. Sunday with first-degree criminal contempt,
a felony, and second-degree harassment. He is accused of
violating the terms of a LeRay Town Court order of
protection by physically pushing his wife, Shonte M.
Green, causing her to fall to the floor and injure her
right knee at about 8 p.m. Sunday at their residence,
deputies said. He was released to military custody and
summoned to appear in LeRay Town Court.
Donna M. Smith, 63, of 325 High St., Watertown, was
charged by Watertown police at 4:07 p.m. Friday at the
Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with fourth-degree
grand larceny, a felony. She is accused of stealing a
wallet belonging to Christina J. Callaghan, Academy
Street, at about 11:15 a.m. Nov. 8 in the lobby of
Watertown Savings Bank, 140 Clinton St., police said. The
wallet contained a debit card, $24 in cash and a New York
state identification card, according to court documents.
Ms. Smith is summoned to appear Nov. 14 in City Court.
Robbbin L. Converse, 38, of 1153 State St., Apt. 1,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:00 p.m.
Sunday at her residence with second-degree criminal
contempt. She is accused of violating the terms of a
Family Court order of protection by sending a text message
to her husband Mark Converse at about 4:11 p.m. Nov. 11,
police said. She was being held at the Metro-Jefferson
Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City
Court.
Jonathan P. Kruger, 21, of 303 Keyes Ave.,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:22 p.m.
Saturday at his residence with unlawfully dealing with a
child. He is accused of providing alcohol to a 14-year-old
girl during a party at his residence at about 9:44 p.m.
Saturday, police said. He is summoned to appear Nov. 15 in
City Court.
Ranfis R. Franco, 23, of 256 Michigan Ave., Apt.
413-C, Watertown, was charged by state police on Saturday
with petit larceny after attempting to steal $212.83 worth
of merchandise from Walmart, Route 3, town of
Watertown.
Kyle W. Roberts, 26, Adams, was charged by state
police at 4:11 p.m. Saturday with petit larceny. He is
accused of stealing a 12-pack o Pepsi from an outdoor
display at Dollar General in Adams. He is summoned to
appear in Adams Town Court.
Nathan K. Atchinson, 37, of 1349 Richards Dr.,
Watertown, was charged at 10:22 p.m. Sunday with
fourth-degree criminal mischief, according to the
Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. Deputies allege he
damaged a $3 ashtray belonging to Margo L. Lowe at about
5:30 p.m. Sunday at 36140 Jackson II Road in the town of
Champion. He is summoned to appear Nov. 15 in Champion
Town Court.
Joshua S. Newton, 30, of 127 S. Pearl Ave.,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:15 p.m.
Sunday in the 300 block of Washington Street with driving
while intoxicated and passing in a no passing zone. He was
released to military custody and summoned to appear Nov.
27 in City Court.
