Police Blotter Report:
Justin J. Burnash, 38, Adams center, was charged by
state police at 1:03 a.m. Sunday on Route 177 in the town
of Rodman with aggravated driving while intoxicated,
third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving on
the shoulder and imprudent speed. Troopers said Mr.
Burnash had driven off the road into a ditch. His blood
alcohol content was 0.20 percent, police said. A BAC of
0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication
under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties
upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent
or greater. He is summoned to appear in Rodman Town
Court.
Christopher A. Wilson, 31, of 306 Stone Dr., Black
River, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies
at 1:10 a.m. Sunday with first-degree promoting prison
contraband, a felony. Deputies said a "Bic"
lighter was located in his jail cell at the
Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building during a search. He
was arraigned in Brownville Town Court and remanded back
to the jail on $10,000 cash bail.
Matthew C. Russell, 32, of 34732 Snell Rd.,
Theresa, was charged by state police at 11:30 p.m.
Saturday with petit larceny. He is accused of stealing
firewood belonging to Kenneth Culbertson, 36253 Hagen Rd.,
LaFargeville, troopers said. Mr. Russell is summoned to
appear in Orleans Town Court.
Dena J. Coleman, 35, of 300 N. Hamilton St.,
Watertown, was cited by Watertown police at 3:30 a.m.
Sunday at Fatboy's Tavern, 743 Huntington St., with
second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving on
a suspended registration, driving without a license and
failure to signal a turn.
Pamela L. Podvin, 35, of 212 Arlington St., Watertown,
was cited by Watertown police at 12:26 a.m. Sunday in the
200 block of Arlington Street with third-degree aggravated
unlicensed operation and driving without a license. She is
summoned to appear Jan. 15 in City Court.
Peter E. Graves Jr., 22, of 104 Creekwood Dr., Apt.
4, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:24
a.m. at his residence with second-degree aggravated
harassment. He is accused of calling Steven McIntyre and
allegedly threatened to kill him at about noon Dec. 27,
police said. Mr. Graves awaits prosecution in City
Court.
David J. Cedar, 21, of 20931 County Route 189,
Lorraine, was arrested by Jefferson County sheriff's
deputies on an outstanding warrant issued by the Town of
Hounsfield Court for second-degree harassment. He was
arraigned before Justice Derouin and sent to the
Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at
$225 cash.
Cassandra L. Devine, 21, of 736 W. Main St., Apt. 3,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:55 a.m.
Friday at the her residence with petit larceny. She is
accused of writing three checks to Real Deals, 144 Eastern
Blvd., totaling $252.08 from a closed bank account in
October, police said. She is summoned to appear Jan. 10 in
City Court.
