Police Blotter Report:
Gary E. Hyatt II, 28, of 167 Ten Eyck St., Apt. 3,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:32 a.m.
Monday at his residence with third-degree assault. Mr.
Hyatt is accused of pushing Thomas R. Bognenschutz causing
him to fall over a chair which resulted in a broken
collarbone and shoulder separation during a incident in
their apartment at about 11:33 p.m. Sunday, police said.
He is being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety
Building pending arraignment Monday morning in City
Court.
Travis L. Peterkin, 43, of 24480 Route 12, Apt.
107, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 2:45
p.m. Sunday at 503 Stone St. with third-degree attempted
assault, resisting arrest and seventh-degree criminal
possession of a controlled substance. He is accused of
punching Patrolman Matthew J. Dawley in his faced three or
four times and ran away while being arrested for
possessing 21 Oxycodone pills in his pocket, according to
court documents. Mr. Peterkin was being held at the
Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 police bail
pending arraignment Monday morning in City Court.
Lawrence T. Merritt, 21, of 122 Elm St., Watertown,
was charged by Watertown police at 7:23 p.m. Sunday at his
residence with second-degree aggravated harassment. It is
alleged Mr. Merritt sent Pearl E. Coulibaly, Philadelphia,
a message through Facebook in which he threatened to punch
her in the mouth at about 6 p.m. Sunday, police said. He
was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety
Building pending arraignment Monday morning in City
Court.
Casey A. Moore, 20, of 829 Water St., Watertown,
was charged by Watertown police at 4:35 p.m. Sunday at his
residence with attempted petit larceny. He is accused of
attempting to steal four 16-ounce Monster Energy drinks
with a total value of $8.10 by concealing the items in a
red backpack inside his jacket at about 4:00 p.m. at
Dollar General, 144 Eastern Blvd., police said. He is
summoned to appear Jan. 11 in City Court.
Coll B. Pagan, 37, of 4627 Lesher St.,
Philadelphia, Pa., was charged by Watertown police at 1:19
a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Black River Parkway with
driving while intoxicated, second-degree criminal
impersonation, unreasonable speed, unsafe lane change,
driving without a license and refused a pre screen test to
determine his blood alcohol content. Police allege he
provided his brother's name and date of birth to prevent
officers from learning that his driving privileges in
Pennsylvania were suspended. He awaits prosecution in City
Court.
Elijah M. Peterson, 19, of 13085 Route 11, Adams
Center, Kyle R. Filkins, 20, of 52 N. Main St.,
Adams, and Ryan J. Godlewski, 21, of 31523 County
Route 69, Copenhagen, were each cited by Adams Village
Police at 2:25 a.m. Sunday at 52 N. Main St. with unlawful
possession of marijuana. Police said the three men
possessed a quantity of marijuana in plain sight on a
coffee table in the living room of the residence. All
three men are summoned to appear Jan. 8 in Village
Court.
