FRIDAY, JANUARY 4,
MEDIA RELEASE:
On 12/23/12 at
11:48 p.m., Nicholas J. Scannell, 20, of 8202
Damper Circle, Liverpool, was arrested for Unlawful
Possession of Marihuana following a traffic stop on SR 481
in the City of Oswego while patrol was conducting a
Traffic Check Point. Mr. Scannell was released on an
appearance ticket, returnable to the City of Oswego Court
on 1/24/13.
On 12/30/12 at 2:44 p.m., Jennifer A. Sater, 35, of
830 Kingdom Rd., Oswego, was charged with DWI and Failure
to Keep the Right of Way following the investigation into
a mva on CR 53 in the Town of Scriba as she was reportedly
traveling north when the 2011 Chevrolet pickup she was
operating, drove off the west side of the roadway and
collided with a group of trees. Ms. Sater was issued
UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on
1/24/13.
On 1/3/13 at 10:25 a.m., Lisa M. Cerullo, 44, of
313 East Willow St. Apt. 510, Syracuse, was arrested for
Criminal Mischief, 4th degree, a class A
misdemeanor following an incident in the Town of Hastings
where she allegedly ripped a cable out of the victim’s
residence that was connected to a security camera. Ms.
Cerullo was released on an appearance ticket, returnable
to the Town of Hastings Court on 1/14/13.
On 1/3/13 at 7:57 a.m., Lynette M. Lapage, 31, of
873 Hannibal St., Apt. E2, Fulton, was arrested for AUO, 3rd
degree (suspended on 12/27/12 for Failure to Answer
Summons in C/O Fulton) and Operating a MV w/o Inspection
Certificate following a traffic stop on CR 8 in the Town
of Granby initiated by patrol observing the expired
inspection sticker. Ms. Lapage was released on UTT’s,
returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 1/29/13.
On 1/3/13 at 9:57 a.m., Timothy E. Bartlett, 31, of
511 Academy St. Apt. 4, Fulton, was arrested in the City
of Fulton for Possessing Contraband in Prison, 2nd
degree, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation
into an incident that occurred in June 2012 in which he
was allegedly found to be in possession of cigarettes
while an inmate at the OCJ. Mr. Bartlett was released on
an appearance ticket, returnable to the City of Oswego
Court on 1/15/13.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 3,
MEDIA RELEASE:
On 12/20/12 at
3:15 a.m., Jessica L. Yerdon, 25, of 38 Birch Lane,
Apt. 39D, Oswego, was arrested for Registration Suspended
(suspended on 12/10/12 for insurance lapse) and Operating
a MV w/o Inspection Certificate following a traffic stop
on CR 4 in the Town of Scriba initiated by the LPR unit
alerting. Ms. Yerdon was released on UTT’s, returnable
to the Town of Scriba Court on 1/10/13.
On 12/28/12 at 9:40 p.m., Anthony J. Belge, 24, of
49 Nolan Dr. Apt. 1A, Pulaski, was arrested at his
residence based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the
Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Belge was
transported to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s office for
further processing.
On 12/29/12 at 5:00 p.m., Amy M. Place, 27, of 29
Birch Lane Apt. 11E, Oswego, NY was arrested based on a
Bench Warrant issued out of the Town of Oswego. Ms. Place
was arraigned by Hon. Judge Sterio and ROR’d.
On 12/29/12 at 12:27 p.m., a 17 year old male residing in
the Town of Oswego was charged with Petit Larceny
following an incident in the Town of Granby in which he is
accused of stealing a Nintendo DS from a residence. The
male was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court by Hon.
Judge Wells and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $1,000 cash
or $2,000 bond with a return to court date of 1/10/13.
On 12/30/12 at 3:38 p.m., Zackary C. Barker, 23 of
220 E 6th St., Oswego, was operating a 1999
Chevrolet pickup south on SR 3 in the Town of Mexico and
attempted to make a turn west onto Hanson St. and
reportedly struck a 2011 Chevrolet pickup being operated
by Richard A. Chase, 66, of 1760 CR 45, Fulton, NY that
was stopped at the stop sign. Mr. Barker was issued
UTT’s for Improper Right Turn and Unlicensed Operator.
Glare form the sun seems to have been a contributing
factor.
On 1/2/13 at 1:37 p.m., a 17 year old male residing in the
Town of Hannibal was charged with Endangering the Welfare
of a Child and Aggravated Harassment, 2nd
degree, both class A misdemeanors following a domestic
dispute that occurred on 12/31/12 in the Town of Hannibal
when he sent threatening text messages to the victim. The
male was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to
the Town of Hannibal Court on 1/29/13.
On 1/2/13 at 7:37 p.m., Dale V. Borst, 51, of 5350
SR 104, Lot 36, Oswego, was arrested for 2 counts of Petit
Larceny following the investigation into an incident at a
business in the Town of Scriba in which he allegedly stole
2 12 packs of beer. Mr. Borst was issued an appearance
ticket, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 1/17/13.
On 1/2/13 at 7:46 p.m., William B. Woodworth, 27,
of Harvest Dr. Bldg. 91, Oswego, was arrested for DWI;
Operating a MV with BAC .08 of 1%; Exhaust System; Illegal
Signal and Failure to Keep Right following the
investigation into a vehicle complaint on Rochester St. in
the Village of Hannibal where patrol reportedly observed
the vehicle commit multiple traffic infractions before
exiting the west side of the roadway into a snow bank and
coming to rest facing north. Mr. Woodworth was released on
UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Hannibal Court on
1/15/13.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 2,
MEDIA RELEASE:
On 12/19/12,
Ben D. Parker, 26, of 74 Potter Road, West Monroe, NY, was
operating a 1994 Jeep suburban southbound on CR 26 in the
Town of West Monroe at 7:37 a.m., when he reportedly lost
control 1/10 of a mile north of Potter Road. The vehicle
went off the west side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Mr. Parker and his passenger, Lily Parker, age three, were
both transported by ambulance to Upstate University
Hospital in Syracuse. Slippery pavement appears to have
been a contributing factor in the incident with the
roadway reportedly covered with black ice.
On 12/22/12, Zachary W. Ferguson, 20, of 155 Cape Horn
Road, Fulton, NY, was operating a 2000 Jeep suburban
eastbound on SR 3 in the Town of Volney at 6:08 a.m. when
he reportedly lost control 550 feet west of Baldwin Road.
The vehicle continued off the road and overturned when it
made contact with a ditch. Mr. Ferguson, the sole
occupant, was transported by ambulance to the Oswego
Hospital. Slippery pavement appears to have been a
contributing factor with road conditions reported to be
covered with snow and ice at the time.
On 12/26/12 at 9:55 a.m., Kenneth D. Shepard, 60, of 51
Lilly Marsh Road, Mexico, NY, was arrested for Criminal
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Seventh Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a
violation, after a controlled substance and small amounts
of marijuana were located in his bedroom during a search
performed by members of Oswego County Probation
Department. Mr. Shepard was arraigned before the Hon.
James Aluzzi, Town of Volney Court, and released on his
own recognizance. He is scheduled to return to court on
1/10/13.
On 12/28/12 at 12:00 p.m., a 15 year old male residing in
the Town of Mexico was charged with Juvenile Delinquency
for acts, which if committed by an adult, would have
constituted the crimes of Sex Abuse, First Degree, a class
D felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class
A misdemeanor. Reportedly, on 10/26/12, the youth was
accused of forcibly touching a female under the age of 15
while traveling in a vehicle in the Town of Hastings. The
youth was referred to the Oswego County Probation
Department for further processing.
On 12/28/12 at 6:18 p.m., the same 15 year old youth was
charged with Juvenile Delinquency for acts, which if
committed by an adult, would have constituted the crimes
of Sex Abuse, First Degree, a class D felony, and
Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
He reportedly, during the months of October and November,
2012, subjected a different female, under the age of 15,
to numerous acts of forcible touching. The youth was again
referred to the Oswego County Probation Department for
further processing on these charges as well.
On 12/28/12 at
2:28 p.m., Stephanie J. Congdon, 35, of 8 Power Dr.,
Fulton, NY, was arrested for Promoting Prison Contraband,
Second Degree, and Criminal Possession of a
Controlled Substance, Seventh Degree, both class A
misdemeanors, stemming from the search of her jail cell at
the Oswego County Correctional Facility. The search
revealed pills described to be a narcotic. Ms. Congdon was
issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the
charges before Oswego City Court on 1/08/13.
On 12/29/12 at 8:59 p.m., Bart A. Gauger, 27, of 23
Pollard Road, Lot 12, Hannibal, NY, was charged with
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree
(five suspensions on four dates), and Illegal U-turn,
following a traffic stop on SR 3 at Phillips Road in the
City of Fulton. The arrest was made during an established
STOP-DWI checkpoint detail. Released on tickets, Mr.
Gauger is scheduled to answer the charges before Fulton
City Court on 1/10/13.
On 12/29/12 at 10:50 p.m., Gregory J. Wittwer, 36, of
14020 Wilde Road, Martville, NY, was charged with Unlawful
Possession of Marijuana, a violation, following an
investigation after he entered a STOP-DWI checkpoint
established on SR 3 in the City of Fulton and was found to
be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a pipe
containing marijuana residue.
Jessica Ladd,
28, of 255 CR7, Hannibal, NY, a passenger in Mr.
Wittwer’s vehicle, was charged with Open
Container after she was found to have an open container of
beer in the vehicle. Both
were issued appearance tickets returnable to Fulton City
Court on 1/10/13.
On 12/31/12 at 8:57
p.m., Honnelee E. Gibbs, 33, of 107 Cedarwood Drive,
Fulton, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed
Operation, Third Degree (license suspended on 12/27/2012
for failure to pay a fine in the City of Fulton), and
Inadequate Plate Lamp, following a traffic stop on SR 3 in
the Town of Granby. Ms. Gibbs was issued tickets
returnable to Town of Granby Court on 1/14/13 and released
to a third party.
On 1/01/13, Ronald J.
Bisnett, 42, of 5432 SR 104, Lot 3, Oswego, NY, was
operating a 2002 Chevrolet suburban eastbound on Middle
Road in the Town of Scriba at 1:11 a.m. when he reportedly
lost control 75 feet west of Creamery Road and struck
mailboxes at 805, 806 and 809 Middle Road before
overturning several times. He then reportedly fled the
scene on foot. Mr. Bisnett was later located and issued
tickets for Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent, Leaving the
Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Improper Plates,
Unlicensed Operator, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and
Operation Without Insurance. He was reportedly transported
by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
Unsafe speed and aggressive driving appear to have been
contributing factors. He is reported to have been driving
in a manner to elude a traffic stop that was being
attempted. Road conditions were reported as being covered
with snow and ice at the time of the incident.
On 1/01/13 at 9:49 a.m., Roger L. Breckenridge, 44, of 89
Dewey Road, Mexico, NY, was arrested based on a Bench
Warrant issued by the Hon. James Metcalf, for Failure to
Appear in Oswego County Drug Court. Mr. Breckenridge was
turned over the custody of the Oswego County Sheriff and
placed in the Oswego County Correctional Facility. He is
scheduled to answer the charge before Oswego County Drug
Court on 1/02/13.
On
1/01/13 at 6:37 p.m., Brandon S. Merritt, 23, of 448 CR
51A, Oswego, NY, was
arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A
misdemeanor, stemming from an incident that occurred at
his residence on 12/13/12 during which he allegedly
damaged the windshield to a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria when
he reportedly threw a scooter at the vehicle during a
brief argument. Mr. Merritt was issued an appearance
ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town
of Scriba Court on 1/24/13.
On 1/01/13 at 8:11 p.m., Alex J. Holley, 29, of 456
Paradise Road, Central Square, NY, was taken into custody
based on a warrant issued by Fulton City Court charging
him with Violation of Probation. Mr. Holley was arraigned
before the Hon. Patricia Kerfien, Town of Volney Court,
and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in
lieu of $150 cash bail or $300 bail bond. He is scheduled
to appear before Fulton City Court on 1/02/13.
On 1/01/13 at 9:21 p.m., Hamish M. Steel, 33, of 140 SR
49, Camden, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed
Operation, Second Degree (license revoked on 1/13/10 for
DWI, on 3/11/12 for Failure to Pay a Fine in Madison
County, on 3/15/10 for DWAI, and on 11/15/10 for Failure
to Pay Driver Responsibility Assessment), and Inadequate
Lighting (only one tail light illuminated), following a
traffic stop on US Rt. 11 in the Town of Parish. Mr. Steel
was issued tickets returnable to Town of Parish Court on
1/22/13 and released to at third party.
