Police Blotter Report:
Scott J. LeClair, 48, of 183 Looby Road,
Churubusco, N.Y., was charged by Jefferson County
sheriff's deputies at 1:13 a.m. Wednesday on Route 11 in
the town of Philadelphia with third-degree unlawful
manufacture of methamphetamine, false personation,
third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding
45 mph in a 30-mph zone. He is accused of possessing
rubbing alcohol, lye from drain cleaner, cold packs,
Coleman fuel, lithium batteries, a hair dryer, mason jar
with residue, tubing, small blender, filters and other
manufacturing material for making methamphetamine in his
vehicle during a traffic stop, deputies said. He is also
accused of providing a deputy with his brother's name and
date of birth in an attempt to prevent deputies from
learning his license was revoked, according to court
documents. He was arraigned in LeRay Town Court.
Keith T. Booker, 41, of 1204 Superior St., Apt. H9,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:17 p.m.
Tuesday at 471 Portage St. with second-degree criminal
contempt. Mr. Booker is accused of violating the terms of
a stay-away order of protection issued by the Town of
Watertown Court when he was located in the same residence
as the protected party, Torilynn M. Mcauley, at about 9:08
p.m. Tuesday at 471 Portage St., police said. He was being
held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending
arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court. He was also
arrested on a bench warrant out of Florida, according to a
police report.
Carroll D. Davis, 53, of 471 Portage St., was cited
by Watertown police at 9:39 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block
of Portage Street with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Ms. Davis allegedly possessed a small sandwich bag
containing marijuana, police said. She is summoned to
appear Jan. 18 in City Court.
Darrious L. Davis, 48, of 471 Portage St.,
Watertown, was arrested by Watertown police at 9:19 p.m.
Tuesday at his residence on a violation of probation
warrant. He was turned over to the Jefferson County
Sheriff's Department.
Jerrell J. Davis, 49, of 471 Portage St.,
Watertown, was cited by Watertown police at 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday at his residence with third-degree aggravated
unlicensed operation and leaving the scene of a property
damage accident. Mr. Davis is accused of striking the
driver's side mirror of a parked 2004 Dodge pickup truck
belonging to Michael A. Miller, 30, Dexter, and also
struck a parked 20012 Honda sedan owned by Prabin Rana
Bhat, 25, Fort Drum, at about 7:39 p.m. Tuesday in the 400
block of Portage Street, police said. The 2006 Ford sport
utility vehicle Mr. Davis was operating was located parked
down the streets with fresh scrapes to the front right
corner and rear right corner of the truck box, according
to an accident report. He is summoned to appear Jan. 20 in
City Court.
Bruce R. Ostman, 25, of 714 Huntington St.,
Watertown, was cited by Watertown police at 4:19 p.m.
Tuesday in the 200 block of Mill Street with third-degree
aggravated unlicensed operation and no inspection. He is
summoned to appear in Jan. 16 in City Court.
Jonathan C. Mills, 27, of 27500 Route 37,
Watertown, was cited by Watertown police at 5:35 p.m.
Tuesday in the 900 block of Mill Street with second-degree
aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful use of a
cellphone. He was released after posting $250 police bail
and is summoned to appear Jan. 16 in City Court.
