Police Blotter Report:
Michael T. Mitchell, 25, of 8519 LeRay St., Evans
Mills, was charged by Watertown police at 8:36 p.m.
Wednesday at 1268 Arsenal St. with second-degree counts of
reckless endangerment and aggravated unlicensed operation,
failure to keep right, endangering the welfare of a child,
and inhalation of toxic vapors. Mr. Mitchell allegedly
inhaled toxic fumes from a Dust-Off can and then lost
control of his 2004 Dodge sport utility vehicle while
turning from Arsenal Street onto Western Boulevard causing
the vehicle to leave the road, travel over an embankment
and came to rest on the opposite of the embankment at
about 8:28 p.m. Wednesday, police said. A 2-year-old boy
was a passenger in the vehicle was treated at the scene
for an abrasion to his chin, according to accident report.
Mr. Mitchell was not injured. He is summoned to appear in
City Court.
Mark
D. Eastman, 43, of 126 N. Orchard St., Apt. 2,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:30 a.m.
Wednesday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building
with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
He is accused of possessing a stolen horse bridle valued
at $90 and belonging to Michelle R. Healsy, Watertown, at
about 1:50 p.m. Jan. 24 at 249 Coffeen St., police said.
He was arraigned in City Court and returned to the
Jefferson County Jail where he is being held on unrelated
charges.
Robert L. Sixberry, 36, of 110 E. Division St.,
Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:42 p.m.
Wednesday at his residence with fourth-degree criminal
mischief. Police allege he slapped the digital display of
an Exerpeugic elliptical exercise machine belonging to
Dianna M. Lewis and worth $220.58 causing the display to
break off into multiple pieces at about 9:15 p.m.
Wednesday in their home. He was being held at the
Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment
Thursday morning in City Court.
Jason J. Silsby, 35, of 11071 Wright St., Adams,
was cited by Watertown police at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday in
the 600 block of State Street with third-degree aggravated
unlicensed operation and an exhaust violation. He is
summoned to appear Feb. 20 in City
Court.
Wayne J. Rosbrook, 44, of 33 Main St.,
Philadelphia, was cited by Watertown police with following
too closely after his 2009 Honda sport utility vehicle
rear-ended a 2011 Nissan sport utility vehicle operated by
Mark Hershowitz, 55, of 20637 Derouin Dr., Sackets Harbor,
at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Arsenal
Street. No injuries were reported. Mr. Rosbrook stated he
did not see the other vehicle stop and was unable to stop
in time causing the collision, according to an accident
report. Both vehicles sustained dents and scratches,
police said.
