Police Blotter Report:
Jonathan M. Ryan, 24, of Minneapolis, Minn., was
charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 3:09
a.m. Sunday on Interstate 81 in the town of Watertown with
aggravated driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle
on a suspended registration and disobeying a traffic
control device. His blood alcohol content was 0.20
percent, deputies said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is
considered proof of intoxication under state law.
Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon
conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or
greater. Deputies said Mr. Ryan was observed making a
"U" turn on the I-81 northbound off-ramp as he
was attempting to drive south. He is summoned to appear
Feb. 21 in town of Watertown Court.
Amy E. Salazar, 23, of 12201 Route 12E, Chaumont,
was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 8:02
p.m. Saturday with petit larceny. She is accused of
stealing $72.83 worth of merchandise from Hannaford food
store, 21110 Pioneer Plaza Dr., town of Watertown,
deputies said. Store personnel said she was observed

spray into her purse as she shopped, left the store and
was approached by store security in the parking lot,
according to court documents. She is summoned to appear
Feb. 28 in town of Watertown Court.
Scott M. Warner Sr., 31, of 665 Olive St., Apt. 1,

Sunday at his residence with second-degree harassment and
fourth-degree criminal mischief. He is accused of slapping
his wife, Natasha M., in her head three times and once in
her ear during an argument at about 1:46 a.m. in their
home, police said. He is also accused of hitting a
microwave causing the glass to break, according to court
documents. He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public

Rd., Apt. 246, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police
at 2:25 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of State Street with
second-degree criminal impersonation. He is accused of
"impersonating Joshua Peterson, the driver of the
vehicle he was a passenger in, during a traffic stop to
prevent Peterson from being arrested for having a
suspended license," according to court documents. Mr.
McClinton was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public
Safety Building pending arraignment Sunday morning in City
Court.
Levi M. Smith, 17, of 633 Lillian St., Watertown,
was charged by Watertown police at 9:20 p.m. Saturday at
his residence with second-degree harassment, disorderly
conduct, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon,
resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Police allege he yelled, banged doors and threw items
around his bedroom during a domestic incident with his
girlfriend. Police said a switchblade knife and marijuana
were located in plain view in his bedroom. He is also
accused of pulling away from officers and attempting to
fight them after he was handcuffed, according to court
documents. Mr. Smith allegedly kicked Officer Jonathan
Pitts numerous times in his leg and side while being
placed under arrest, police said. He was being held at the
Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment
Sunday morning in City Court.
