FRIDAY, MAY 3, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/2/13 at 8:20 p.m., a 16 year old male residing in the Town of Hannibal was charged with Burglary, second-degree, a class C felony, Conspiracy, fourth-degree, a class E felony and Grand Larceny, fourth-degree, a class E felony following the investigation into his alleged participation into the breaking in of a Town of Schroeppel residence in December 2012 in which a flat screen television was stolen along with a gaming system. The male was arraigned in the Town of Schroeppel Court by Hon. Judge Brandt and ROR’d with a return to court at a later date. This case is now closed.

On 5/2/13 at 11:30 p.m., Oleg V. Grabovyy, 19, of 4332 Cross Creek Dr., Liverpool, NY was arrested based on a Criminal Summons issued out of the Town of Granby charging him with Trespass. Mr. Grabovyy is scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Granby Court on 5/9/13.


THURSDAY, MAY 2, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 5/1/13 at 9:38 p.m., Nancy L. Greenwood, 59, of 1922 SR 48, Lot 13B, Fulton, NY was arrested for Welfare Fraud, third-degree, a class D felony and Grand Larceny, third-degree, a class D felony following an investigation into which she allegedly obtained services from the Oswego County Department of Social Services in the form of Medicaid due to not reporting incomes received in the amount of over $3,000.00 from August 2009 thru June 2010. Ms. Greenwood was arraigned before Hon. Judge Adkins in the Town of Scriba Court and ROR’d with a return to T/O Mexico Court on 5/7/13.

On 5/1/13 at 1:00 p.m., Michael E. Shoults Sr., 53, of 1835 CR 8, Oswego, NY was arrested for Possessing Dangerous Contraband in Prison, first-degree, a class D felony, Possessing Contraband in Prison, second-degree, a class A misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, seventg-degree, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into an incident that occurred in the OCJ in which he was found to allegedly have narcotics along with a lighter and baggies of marihuana. Mr. Shoults was arraigned by Hon. Jude Metcalf and remanded back to the OCJ held without bail and a return to Oswego City Court on 5/7/13.

On 5/1/13 at 2:00 p.m., Michael B. Lavalley, 29, of 2819 SR 69, Parish, NY was arrested in the Town of Hastings based on a Bench Warrant issued out of Oswego County Court. Mr. Lavalley was arraigned in County Court by Hon. Judge Hafner and ROR’d with an order by the judge to pay restitution.

On 5/1/13 at 5:10 p.m., a 17 year old male residing in the City of Syracuse was charged with Burglary, second-degree, a class C felony, Conspiracy fourth-degree, a class E felony and Grand Larceny, fourth-degree, a class E felony stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred in December 2012 in the Town of Schroeppel and his alleged participation in the breaking into a residence and the theft of a flat screen television along with a gaming system and computer monitor. The male was arraigned in the Town of Schroeppel Court by Hon. Judge Brandt-Brown and ROR’d with a return to T/O Schroeppel Court on 5/8/13.

On 5/1/13 at 7:00 p.m., Kelvin D. Miller, 26, of 38 Birch Lane Bldg. 42 Apt A, Oswego, NY was arrested for 2 counts of Assault, second-degree, a class D felony following an incident that occurred in the Town of Palermo in which he allegedly hit the victim in the head with a bucket causing injury to the left eye. Mr. Miller was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and ROR’d with a return to Palermo Town Court on 5/20/13.

On 5/1/13 at 7:55 p.m., Danny L. Fuller, 49, of 106 Sol Davis Rd., Williamstown, NY was arrested at his residence based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the Williamstown Town Court charging him with Petit Larceny. Mr. Fuller was arraigned before Hon. Judge Dunham and ROR’d with a return to T/O Williamstown Court on 5/15/13.





WEDNESDAY, MAY 1, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 4/30/13 at 4:14 p.m., Tyrone J. Worley, 19, of 11 Town Garden Dr. Apt. 3, Liverpool, was arrested for Burglary, second-degree, a class C felony, Conspiracy, fourth-degree, a class E felony and Grand Larceny, fourth-degree, a class E felony stemming from the investigation into an incident and his alleged participation in that incident that occurred in the Town of Schroeppel in December 2012 when the victim’s residence was broken in to and a flat screen television, gaming console and computer monitor were taken.  Mr. Worley was arraigned in the Town of Schroeppel Court by Hon. Judge Brandt-Brown and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 bond with a return to court date of 5/1/13.  This case remains an open investigation.

On 4/30/13 at 10:16 p.m., Thomas C. Drury, 42, of 4175 W Shore Manor Rd., Jamesville, was operating a 2000 International tractor trailer south on I 81 in the Town of Hastings, 1/10 mile south of milepost 102, and when reportedly attempting to change lanes collided with a 2002 Jeep suburban being operated by Steven A. Mussen, 31, of 200 W Yates St., Apt. A-3, East Syracuse, NY.  Mr. Drury was issued a UTT for Moving from Lane Unsafely.




TUESDAY, APRIL 30, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 4/24/13 at 4:00 p.m., William A. Snyder, 37, of 538 South Albion Rd., Altmar, was arrested for Harassment, second-degree after reportedly being served a Criminal Summons out of the Town of Williamstown Court by Hon. Judge Dunham.  Mr. Snyder is scheduled to appear in court on 5/1/13 to answer the charge.

On 4/27/13 at 9:35 p.m., Zachary S. Amo, 31, of 513 Judson St., Ogdensburg, was arrested for AUO, third-degree and Inadequate Plate Lamp following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba reportedly initiated after patrol observed the vehicle with no license plate lamp.  Mr. Amo was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 5/23/13.

On 4/29/13 at 9:55 a.m., Timothy D. Casey, 37, of 2396 Canal Rd., Camillus, was arrested for AUO, second-degree (12 suspensions with 7 on 4 dates, failure to pay child support on 2/5/10,8/11/06,5/20/05,11/5/ 04, 3x Failure to Answer Summons 9/24/05 in Town of Sullivan, Madison County, 3/17/12 for Failure to Answer Summons in in V/O North Syracuse, Onondaga County, 11/26/10 for failure to answer summons in Oneida County, T/O Verona, 2x 5/15/03 for failure to answer summons in T/I Cicero, Onondaga County and license revoked for driving while ability impaired by alcohol on 3/28/01)  and Speed in Zone following a traffic stop on SR 264 in the Town of Schroeppel reportedly initiated after patrol confirmed the vehicle’s speed.  Mr. Casey was arraigned in the Town of Hastings Court by Hon. Judge Myers and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $2,000/$5,000 bail with a return to the T/O Schroeppel Court on 5/1/13.

On 4/29/13 at 2:30 p.m., Kelly M. Hartz, 46, of 437 SR 13, Apt. Downstairs, Williamstown, was arrested for Welfare Fraud, third-degree, a class D felony; Grand Larceny, third-degree, a class D felony and Offering a False Instrument for Filing, first-degree, a class E felony following the investigation into an incident in which she allegedly received services in the form of Medicaid and food stamps from the Department of Social Services after failing to report income that would have made her ineligible from 6/2010 thru 2/2011 in the amount of over $9,000.  Ms. Hartz was arraigned before Hon. Judge Adkins in T/O Scriba Court and ROR’d with a return to T/O Mexico Court on 5/7/13.

On 4/29/13 at 1:30 p.m., Tracy L. Miller, 44, of 1923 CR 1, Oswego, was arrested for Registration Suspended (suspended on 2/15/13 for insurance lapse) following a traffic stop on SR 481 in the Town of Scriba initiated after the LPR unit alerted.  Ms. Miller was released on a UTT, returnable to the Town of Scriba Court on 5/23/13.

On 4/29/13 at 5:15 p.m., Darlene J. Halstead, 61, of 1342 CR 22, Altmar, was arrested for Grand Larceny, third-degree, a class D felony, Welfare Fraud, third-degree, a class D felony and Offering a False Instrument for Filing, first-degree, a class E felony after she allegedly received services from the Oswego County Department of Social Services in the form of Medicaid and food stamps totaling over $5,000 from 7/2006 thru 6/2009 due to not reporting income.  Ms. Halstead was arraigned in T/O Scriba Court by Hon. Judge Adkins and ROR’d with a return to T/O Mexico Court on 5/7/13.




MONDAY, APRIL 29, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 4/25/13, Jessica L. Burns, 33, of 6652 Bear Road, 43, Syracuse, NY, was operating a 2006 Nissan northbound on SR 3 in the Town of Palermo at 6:16 p.m., when her vehicle reportedly rear-ended a northbound 2005 Ford driven by Michael W. Dolbear, 69, of 562 Red School House Road, Fulton, NY. The incident occurred as Mr. Dolbear was stopped on SR 3 at CR 45 facing northbound waiting to make a left hand turn onto CR 45. Ms. Burns, who reportedly left the scene of the incident, was later ticketed for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident. Following too closely appears to have been a contributing factor.

On 4/26/13 at 7:32 a.m., Michael P. Dunsmoor, Jr., 24, of 502 S. 6th St., Fulton, NY, was taken into custody based on a warrant issued by Town of Granby Court. Mr. Dunsmoor was arraigned before the Hon. Bruce Wells, Town of Granby Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 4/29/13.

On 4/26/13, Jessica M. Cherchio, 24, of PO Box 88, Lycoming, NY, was operating a 2005 Chevrolet suburban westbound on Churchill Road in the City of Oswego at 10:06 a.m. when she reportedly rear-ended a 2006 Mazda suburban driven by Fred M. Lovell, 63, of 452 Rowlee Road, Fulton, NY. The Mazda was at the stop sign at SR 481 at the time of the incident. Following too closely appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident, with Ms. Cherchio being issued a ticket for Following Too Closely.

On 4/26/13 at 1:33 p.m., Jason R. Skellington, 30, of 49 Kasoag Lake Rd., Altmar, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Fifth Degree, a class A misdemeanor; Resisting Arrest, a class A misdemeanor; and Assault, Second Degree, a class E felony, stemming from an incident that occurred in the Town of Williamstown. Mr. Skellington is accused of being in possession of a home made trailer that was stolen from a Town of Williamstown camp and of causing an injury to a Deputy when Mr. Skellington resisted during the arrest process. He was arraigned before Town of Albion Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Town of Williamstown Court on 5/01/13.

On 4/26/13 at 7:25 p.m., Kayla E. Thibeau, 17, of 8 Wallace Rd., Phoenix, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended for failing to answer a summons in the Town of Volney), and Operation While Registration Suspended/Revoked (registration suspended due to insurance lapse), following a traffic stop on CR6 in the Town of Volney. Ms. Thibeau was issued tickets returnable to Town of Schroeppel Court on 5/08/13.

On 4/26/13 at 10:27 p.m., Suzanne L. Hamm, 39, of 8825 Oswego Rd., Clay, NY, was charged with Operation While Registration Suspended/Revoked (registration suspended for insurance lapse), following a traffic stop on SR 481 in the Town of Volney after a License Plate Reader targeted her vehicle. Ms. Hamm was issued a ticket and released. She will answer the charge before Town of Volney Court on 5/06/13.

On 4/27/13 at 12:20 a.m., Troy L. Lamb, 42, of 4 RSA Rd., Central Square, NY, was arrested for Criminal Trespass, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after he allegedly entered a Town of West Monroe residence without permission to reportedly engage in a verbal altercation with the residents. Mr. Lamb is scheduled to appear before Town of West Monroe Court on 5/13/13 to answer the charge.

On 4/27/13 at 8:50 a.m., Randy C. Solazzo, 27, of 205 Middle Road, Lot 1, Oswego, NY, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after he was accused of breaking a metal window screen to allegedly gain entry into a Town of Mexico apartment on 4/26/2013. Mr. Solazzo was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Mexico Court on 5/14/2013.

On 4/27/13 at 7:01 p.m., John T. LeRoy, 27, of 542 Rathburn Road, Fulton, NY, was charged with No Seat Belt-Driver and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree (prior conviction for AUO during the past 18 months), following a traffic stop after the driver was allegedly observed putting on his seatbelt after turning north on Rathburn Road from SR 3 during an established traffic checkpoint. Mr. LeRoy was released on tickets returnable to Town of Granby Court on 5/13/13.

On 4/27/13 at 11:27 p.m., Nicholas A. Love, 22, of 9734 SR 104, Hannibal, NY, was arrested for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood Circulation, a class A misdemeanor, and Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, stemming from a domestic incident during which he allegedly put his hands on the throat of a female victim and held her against a car outside of his residence. Mr. Love was arraigned before the Hon. Eugene Hafner, Town of Hannibal Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 5/28/13. A member of the NYS Police assisted with the investigation.

On 4/28/13 at 8:55 p.m., Justin C. Ryan, 24, of 73 E. Ninth St., Oswego, NY, was ticketed for Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended on 2/08/13 for failing to answer a summons in the Town of Hastings), following a traffic stop in the Town of Volney after he was observed passing through the stop sign at the intersection of CR 4 and CR 6. Mr. Ryan is scheduled to appear before Town of Volney Court on 5/13/13.

On 4/28/13 at 11:07 p.m., Tyler W. Roberts, 24 (driver), and Alec J. Irace, 19 (passenger), both of 30 Rudolph Rd., Oswego, NY, were
each charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation, following a traffic stop in the Town of Oswego, stemming from the complaint of a reckless driver. Both men were released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Oswego Court on 5/06/13.
