Police Blotter Report:

Jefferson County Sheriff's Department:

Jeffrey F. Shaffer, 23, of 2407 Cemetery Rd., Felts Mills, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 11:43 p.m. Tuesday on Route 3 in the town of Rutland with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings. Deputies said he was found in possession of metal knuckles during a traffic stop. He is summoned to appear June 11 in Rutland Town Court.



Watertown Police Department: 

James T. Breece
, 19, of 130 W. Main St., Apt. 4, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday at 320 Clay St. with second-degree criminal contempt. Mr. Breece is accused of violating the terms of a stay-away Family Court order of protection when we was inside the home of the protected party, Rita A. Monter, and was in contact with her, according to court documents. He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court. 

Andrea L. Cain
, 46, of 17120 County Route 53, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday at 548 Jefferson St. with fourth-degree criminal mischief. She is accused of damaging a glass window pane in the apartment of Scott A. Casario, 45, of 548 Jefferson St., upper apt., during a domestic dispute at about 11:42 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Mr. Casario was charged with second-degree counts of harassment and unlawful imprisonment. He is accused of grabbing Ms. Cain by her left forearm causing a bruise, struck her in the left eye, physically restrained her and ripped her shirt and undergarment during the incident, police said. They were both being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court.

Corey T. Williams, 25, of 435 S. Hycliff Dr., Apt. C, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:36 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Academy Street with fourth-degree stalking and second-degree aggravated harassment. He is accused of sending Chaniece K. Saint-Val multiple text messages which threatened her life and stated he was watching her movements and vehicle between Jan. 6 to 21 at Taco Bell, 945 Arsenal St., police said. He was held for arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court.

Rodrick D. Jenkins, 26, of 505 Washington St., Apt. 300, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:00 p.m. May 17 at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He is accused of possessing a stolen Verizon LG cellphone belonging to Timothy P. Burnett, Watertown, between April 11 and 20, police said. He is summoned to appear May 31 in City Court.

Lewis C. Leggions Jr., 27, of 270 Mullin St., Apt. 206, Watertown, was cited by Watertown police at 2:23 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Academy Street with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a headlight violation. He is summoned to appear June 3 in City Court. 

Jeremy M. Miller, 22, of 13432 County Route 75, Adams, was arrested on a bench warrant at 4:09 p.m. Monday at Family Dollar, 146 Arsenal St., according to Watertown police. He was being held pending arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court. 

Francis C. Townsend, 31, of 653 Boyd St., Apt. F1, Watertown, was cited by Watertown police at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of State Street with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and following to close. He is summoned to appear June 11 in City Court.
