Police Blotter Report:

New York State Police:

Rennel K. Crayton, 21, of 26283 Falcon Lane, Evans Mills, was charged by state police at 12:20 a.m. Friday on County Route 30 in the town of LeRay with driving while intoxicated, refusing to take a breath test and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned before LeRay Town Justice John W. Hallett and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at $1,000 cash. 

Nichole L. Eves, 32, Carthage, was charged by state police at 8 p.m. Thursday on Bridge Street in Carthage with second-degree harassment stemming from an incident on June 9. Further details were not provided. 



Watertown Police Department:

Shanee L. Baker, 22, of 253 N. Rutland St., Apt. 1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 2:29 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of Huntington Street with driving while intoxicated and unsafe backing. Her blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. She is summoned to appear June 25 in City Court.

Damon A. Kurnik, 39, of 708 Gilbert St., Apt. 3, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:15 p.m. Thursday at his residence with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He is accused of throwing a bag of clothes through a screen door which struck Crystal L. Slate, 270 Moulton St., in her face during a domestic incident at about 9:55 p.m. at 716 Morrison St., police said. Ms. Slate's two daughters, age 9 and 11, were in close proximity to the incident, according to court documents. Mr. Kurnik was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.

Christian T. Gray, 25, of 1004 Franklin St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:44 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of Factory Street with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was released to military custody and summoned to appear June 28 in City Court.  

Jonathan M. Belden, 28, of 802 Franklin St., Apt. 3, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:30 a.m. Thursday at his residence with second-degree obstruction of government administration and attempted fourth-degree criminal mischief. Mr. Belden is accused of attempting to damage the roof and driver's side front and back doors of a 2002 Buick belonging to Randy W. Harten by throwing eggs at the vehicle at about 1:02 a.m. Thursday at 802 Franklin St., according to court documents. "The defendant was believed to be in possession of a weapon and was ordered to exit his residence with his hands up," police wrote. "The defendant reached for an unknown object with his left hand and slammed the door shut on police preventing them from conducting an investigation." 

Gary S. Dusharm, 43, of 642 Emerson St., Apt. 2, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony. He is accused of violating the terms of a refrain-from order of protection when he called the protected party, Christine Sinclair, at about 8:37 p.m. May 2, police said. He was arraigned before City Judge Eugene R. Renzi who sent him to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at $100 cash. 

Jason M. Calhoun, 33, of 46 Public Square, Apt. 202, Watertown, was cited by Watertown police at 4:47 p.m. Thursday at 231 Franklin St. with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police said he was observed holding a cigarette in his right hand which was found to contain marijuana. He is summoned to appear June 26 in City Court. 

Makenzie N. Roberts, 17, of 153 Haney St., Watertown, was arrested on a violation of probation warrant at 12:20 p.m. Thursday at her residence, according to Watertown police. She was turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. She was arraigned before Town of Watertown Justice David A. Renzi and ordered held without bail at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building. 

Tyler L. Nasworthy, 18, of 1815 Olmsted Dr., Apt. 211C, Watertown, was arrested on a violation of probation warrant at 12:20 p.m. Thursday at 153 Haney St., according to Watertown police. He was held for arraignment in City Court. 

Christopher E. Martin, 25, of 24999 Pheasant Run, Apt. 3, Calcium, was cited by Watertown police at 10:49 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Arsenal Street with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and using a cellphone while driving. He was also arrested on a warrant and held for arraignment in City Court.

Erika P. Grant, 36, of 415 Gotham St., Apt. 6, Watertown, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 9:40 a.m. Thursday with petit larceny.
