THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31, MEDIA RELEASE:


On 10/27/13 at 1:00 p.m., April A. Williams, 39, of 13 Rockinghorse Rd., Pulaski, was charged with AUO, third-degree (suspended on 01/05/2007 failure to answer a summons T/O Williamstown and on 02/22/2009 failure to pay fine T/O Sandy Creek), Registration Suspended and Operating a MV w/o Insurance following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of Oswego initiated by the LPR unit alerting.  Ms. Williams was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Oswego Court on 11/11/13.

On 10/27/13 at 11:20 a.m., Vincent R. Esposito, 51, of 15411 SR 104, Martville, was charged with AUO, second-degree (suspended on 7/21/12 for failure to pay fine in T/O Huron, 12/17/12 for DWI, 12/22/12 Failure to Answer Summons in T/O Volney, 1/9/13 DWI and 2/14/13 failure to pay driver responsibility)and Registration Suspended, both misdemeanors following a traffic stop on CR 3 in the Town of Granby initiated by the LPR unit alerting.  Mr. Esposito was released on UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 11/11/13.

On 10/30/13 at 12:31 p.m., Jesse M. Souza, 23, of 125 Royal Ave., Norwich, was arrested in the Town of Manlius based on a Felony Bench Warrant issued out of Oswego County Court charging him with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, fourth-degree.  Mr. Souza was remanded to the OCJ and will be arraigned in County Court on 10/31/13.

On 10/30/13 at 7:24 p.m., Jeddidia L. Manning, 17, of 27 Chinook Lane, Altmar, was arrested based on an arrest warrant issued out of the Town of Oswego Court by Hon. Judge Jung charging him with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, fourth-degree, a class E felony stemming from an incident that occurred on 9/7/13 when he allegedly stole a 2003 Ford pickup and engaged in a mva. Mr. Manning was arraigned by Hon. Judge Jung and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $500/$1,000 bail with a return to T/O Oswego Court on 11/4/13.

On 10/30/13 at 4:15 p.m., Maria L. Whelsky, 33, of 3863 SR 3, Fulton, NY and Jason T. Stevens, 32, of 660 Harris Hill Rd., Hannibal, NY were arrested for Conspiracy, sixth-degree, a class B misdemeanor and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor stemming from the investigation into a
larceny in progress complaint at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart where they allegedly stole a television, household items and consumable goods.  Ms. Whelsky and Mr. Stevens were released on appearance tickets, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 11/11/13 for Ms. Whelsky and on 11/18/13 for Mr. Stevens.



WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 10/28/13 at 5:10 p.m., Shane Thomas Dowling, 25, of 9 James Rd., Hannibal, NY was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana, first-degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, fourth-degree, a class C felony and Unlawful Growing of Cannabis, a class A misdemeanor stemming from an investigation into a separate incident in the Town of Hannibal where he was allegedly found to be participating in the growing of marihuana at a Town of Granby residence where grinders, drying racks, growing lights and ventilation piping were found along with live plants.  Mr. Dowling was arraigned by Hon. Judge Wells in T/O Granby Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $5,000/$10,000 bail with a return to court date of 11/14/13.  This case remains an open investigation.

On the same day at 7:22 p.m., Mr. Dowling was arrested for Criminal Possession of Marihuana, fourth-degree, a class A misdemeanor after mason jars were found with marihuana in them at a residence in the Town of Hannibal.  Mr. Dowling was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Hannibal Court on 11/12/13.



TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, MEDIA RELEASE:


On 10/24/13 at 4:05 p.m., Ashley Marie Lightenfield, 27, of 113 Boyd Ave., Solvay, was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor following an incident at the Wal-Mart in the Village of Central Square where she is accused of stealing items worth over $100.  Ms. Lightenfield was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the V/O Central Square Court on 11/13/13.

On 10/24/13 at 4:39 p.m., Pamela M. Austin, 58, of 176 Rochester St., Hannibal, was operating a 2005 Chevrolet suburban south on SR 3 in the Town of Mexico, ¼ mile north of Pople Ridge Rd., when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle causing it to cross the center line and collide with a 2003 Jeep suburban being operated by Leland H. Dusharm, 57, of 125 Oswego River Rd., Phoenix, that was traveling northbound. Ms. Austin and Mr. Dusharm were transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.  Unsafe speed and slippery pavement seem to have been contributing factors, deputies said..

On 10/28/13 at 10:05 p.m., Michael W. Vanhorn, 29, of 511 Academy St., Apt. 3, Fulton, was arrested at his residence based on a Bench Warrant issued out of Oswego County Family Court by Hon. Judge Todd charging him with violating Article IV of the Family Court Act, failure to pay child support.  Mr. Vanhorn was arraigned in Family Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $5,000/$10,000 bail with a return to court on 11/1/13.




MONDAY, OCTOBER 28, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 10/26/13 at 8:27 p.m., Tonya L. LeBeau, 39, of26 Erie St., Pulaski, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, and Refusal to Take a Chemical Test, stemming from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on CR 43 in the Town of New Haven.  Ms. LeBeau was issued tickets and released.  She is scheduled to appear before Town of New Haven Court on 11/06/13 to answer the charges.  Operating a 2006 Chrysler northbound, Ms. LeBeau reportedly lost control approximately 20 feet south of SR 104B where the vehicle exited the east side of the roadway and went into a ditch.  Unsafe speed appears to have been another contributing factor in the incident, deputies said.


On 10/24/13 at 12:12 a.m., Marta J. Nolen, 31, of 1 Carter Road, Hannibal, was charged with Speed in Zone and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended for Failing to Pay Driver Responsibility), stemming from a traffic stop on Pollard Road in the Town of Hannibal.  Ms. Nolen was issued tickets returnable to Town of Hannibal Court on 11/19/13 and released to a third party.

On 10/25/13 at 11:15 a.m., a 16 year old male residing in the Town of Scriba was served a Criminal Summons issued by Town of Mexico Court charging him with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.  The youth is scheduled to appear before Town of Mexico Court on 10/29/13.  He is accused of being found in possession of a clear zip lock baggie which allegedly contained marijuana while on school grounds at the Mexico High School on 10/08/13.

On 10/25/13 at 1:30 p.m., Marshall J. Butler, 30, of 2727 SR 104, Mexico, was arrested at the Oswego County Correctional Facility based on a Fugitive From Justice Warrant issued by Montgomery County, Tennessee.  Mr. Butler was arraigned before Oswego County Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail to await a return to court on 10/28/13.

On 10/25/13 at 3:47 p.m., David W. Hendrickson, III, 24, of 1020 CR 25, Oswego, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, after being accused of striking a child under the age of 17 in the face, causing bruising, after the child allegedly took items from a table that belonged to Mr. Hendrickson without permission.  Mr. Hendrickson was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Minetto Court on 11/06/13.

On 10/27/13a t 10:15 a.m., Frances J. Bond, 23, of 2991 SR 3, Fulton, was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and Conspiracy, Sixth Degree, a class B misdemeanor, stemming from an incident that occurred at the Wal-Mart store located in the Town of Granby on 10/25/13 when she, in concert with another, reportedly entered the store with the plan to steal merchandise.  Ms. Bond is accused of stealing electronics from the store amounting to nearly $500 in value.  Ms. Bond was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Granby Court on 10/28/13.

On 10/27/13 at 10:24 a.m., William J. Naracon, 23, of 203 E. Second St., Oswego, was detained by a member of the Oswego City Police and turned over to a Sheriff’s Deputy based on a bench warrant issued by Town of Scriba Court.  Mr. Naracon was arraigned before the Hon. Douglas Crouse, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 11/07/13.
