WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 11/21/13 at 5:26 p.m., Tiffani M. Brooks, 19, of 124 Emery St., Fulton, was charged with Operation While Registration Suspended/Revoked (registration suspended for insurance lapse), following a traffic stop in the City of Oswego after a License Plate Reader targeted her vehicle.  Ms. Brooks was issued a uniform traffic ticket returnable to Oswego City Court on 12/19/13.

 

On 11/22/13 at 8:37 p.m., a 17 year old female residing in the Town of Richland was charged with Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, after she was accused of punching another girl in the face for no specific reason while at the Haldane Center located in the Village of Pulaski. The girl was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Richland Court on 12/09/13.

 

On 11/25/13 at 5:20 p.m., Jessica R. Soble, 32, of 505 Seventh North St., Liverpool, was arrested for Welfare Fraud, Third Degree, and Grand Larceny, Third Degree, both class D felonies, as well as Offering to File a False Written Statement, a class E felony, stemming from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Ms. Soble was arraigned before the Hon. James Gracey, Town of Mexico Court, and released on her own recognizance.  She is scheduled to return to court on 1/07/2014.  Ms. Soble reportedly falsely received welfare benefits between December, 2010 and August, 2011.

 

On 11/26/13 at 1:15 p.m., Jason M. Quackenbush, 25, of 4169 Wetzel Road, Liverpool, was taken into custody based on a bench warrant issued by the Hon. Walter Hafner, Oswego County Court on 9/19/2013.  Mr. Quackenbush is currently being held at the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail pending a court appearance before Judge Hafner.

 

On 11/26/13 at 6:26 p.m., April M. Trumble, 31, of 1955 CR 2, Orwell, was arrested for Welfare Fraud, Fourth Degree, and Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, both class E felonies, stemming from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services.  Ms. Trumble was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Mexico Court on 12/10/13 and released. 


TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 11/17/13 at 12:20 p.m., Justin A. Storto, 18, of 5889 SR 3, Mexico, was arrested for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood Circulation and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both class A misdemeanors, stemming from the investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the Village of Mexico.  Mr. Storto was arraigned before the Hon. James Gracey, Town of Mexico Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 11/26/13.  Mr. Storto is accused of assaulting a female victim, under the age of 18, by putting his thumb into her throat until her face turned purple and by punching and kicking her in the ribs until she lost air, all during an argument. 

 

On 11/21/13 at 12:26 a.m., Kevin D. Richardson, 20, of 152 Nichols Road, Williamstown, NY, was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle With Inadequate Stop Lamps and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended on 10/30/13 for insurance lapse), following a traffic stop on SR 13 in the Town of Williamstown after he was observed driving with one illuminated brake light.  Mr. Richardson was issued tickets returnable to Town of Williamstown Court on 12/03/13.

 

On 11/22/13 at 11:30 a.m., Cody T. Pruett, 21, of 848 County Route 52, Richland, NY, was arrested for Criminal Sex Act, Second Degree, a class D felony; four counts of Rape, Second Degree, a class D felony; and four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.  Mr. Pruett is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse and anal sexual conduct with a female under the age of 15 between the months of May and October 2013, while in the Town of Orwell.  Arraigned before the Honorable Kenneth Adkins in the Town of Scriba Court, Mr. Pruett was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond.  He is scheduled to appear before Town of Orwell Court on 12/04/13 to answer the charges.

 

On 11/22/13 at 9:00 a.m., a 16 year old female residing in the Town of Albion, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, a violation, during open skating at the Haldane Center in Pulaski after she allegedly refused to leave the premises when asked to, then spoke disparagingly to an officer.  Reportedly, while being detained and while seated in a patrol car, the girl reportedly banged her head against the window.  The girl was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Richland Court on 12/09/13.



MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25, MEDIA RELEASE:

On 11/22/13 at 7:20 a.m., Mitchell A. Robertson, 25, of 138 Green Road, Mexico, NY, was taken into custody based on a Family Court Warrant.  Mr. Robertson was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to appear before Oswego County Family Court on 11/25/13 for further proceedings.

On 11/22/13 at 1:39 p.m., Raymond E. Strickler, 36, of 285 Blumer Road, Pennellville, NY, was taken into custody based on an unspecified Family Court Warrant.  Mr. Strickler was arraigned before the Hon. Donald E. Todd, Oswego County Family Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 11/26/13.

On 11/23/13 at 12:27 a.m., Jason A. Pitcher, 29, of 956 Middle Road, Lot 3W, Oswego, NY, was taken into custody based on a warrant charging him with Violation of Probation.  Mr. Pitcher is being held at the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail awaiting further proceedings before Oswego County Court on 11/25/13.

On 11/23/13 at 1:30 a.m., Christopher J. Izyk, 28, of 62 Simpson Drive, Oswego, NY, was charged with Speed in Zone and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended twice on 8/21/2013 for failing to pay a fine in the City of Fulton), following a traffic stop on CR 4 in the City of Oswego.  Mr. Izyk was issued tickets and released to a third party.  He is scheduled to answer the charges before Oswego City Court on 12/10/13.

On 11/23/13 at 5:31 a.m., Gregory A. Horn, 29, of 38 Birch Lane, Bldg. 46, Apt. D, Oswego, NY, was charged with Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, after he was reportedly observed by a Deputy verbally threatening to cause physical harm to a male victim.  Mr. Horn was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Scriba Court on 12/12/13.

On 11/23/13 at 8:35 a.m., Danielle L. Roberts, 20, of 8560 Sumac Drive, Baldwinsville, NY, was charged with Speed in Zone and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended on 11/18/13 for a suspended probationary license), following a traffic stop on Volney Street in the Village of Phoenix.  Ms. Roberts was issued tickets and released to a third party.  She is scheduled to appear before Town of Schroeppel Court on 12/04/13 to answer the charges.

On 11/23/13 at 2:03 p.m., Carol J. Burmingham, 23, of 2793 SR 46, A2, West Monroe, NY, was operating a 2005 Toyota suburban eastbound on SR 104 in the Town of Mexico when she lost control 1/10 of a mile east of Smithers Road.  The vehicle went off the north side of the roadway and struck a ditch and reflective marker sign post.  Ms. Burmingham, the sole occupant, was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.  Slippery pavement and unsafe speed appear to have been contributing factors in the incident.  The roadway at the time of the incident was reportedly covered with snow and ice.

On 11/23/13, Michael J. Prevo, Jr., 18, of 814 Fay St., Fulton, NY, was operating a 2003 Chevrolet northbound on SR 481 in the Town of Schroeppel at 8:34 p.m. when he reportedly lost control one mile south of CR 57A.  The vehicle exited the roadway to the west, encountered a ditch in the median, and rolled before coming to rest overturned.  Kristina Skogfeldt, 17, a passenger, was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.  Unsafe speed and slippery pavement appear to have been contributing factors in the incident with road conditions reported as being covered with snow and ice at the time. 

On 11/24/13 at 1:06 p.m., Anthony J. Smith, 24, of 186 Rathburn Road, Lot 7, Fulton, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Third Degree, a class D felony; two counts of Reckless Endangerment, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor; Unlawful Imprisonment, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor; Menacing, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor; and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on 11/23/13.  Mr. Smith was arraigned before the Hon. Bruce Wells, Town of Granby Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 11/25/13.  During the incident Mr. Smith is accused of pushing a female down twice, once while the victim was holding a child in her hands, threatening to harm both of them while holding a kitchen knife to their throats, and taking a cell phone from the victim as she attempted to call 911 for help.

On 11/24/13 at 7:25 p.m., James M. Russo, 35, of 211 E. Patricia Lane, North Syracuse, NY, was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Criminal Trespass, Third Degree, a class B misdemeanor, after being accused of entering an enclosed porch at a residence located in the Town of Schroeppel without permission and burning holes in the victimís patio chairs.  Mr. Russo was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Schroeppel Court on 1/09/2014.
