Priscilla A. Campbell, 84, Carthage

CARTHAGE, NY — Priscilla A. Campbell, 84, died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Meadowbrook Terrace in Carthage.

Born Jan. 25, 1934, in Carthage, the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette DeCilles Pignone Sr., she was a 1950 graduate of Augustinian Academy and the Watertown School of Commerce.

She married Oral J. Campbell on Jan. 25, 1952, at St. James Church in Carthage. The couple for many years lived on the Rogers Crossing Road. Oral died on June 1, 2007.

Priscilla worked part time for the Carthage-Republican Tribune for many years and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. James Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Teresa Mitchell of Norfolk, NY; two sons and their wives: Stephen and Anne Campbell of Lexington, KY and Timothy and Kathryn Campbell of Lake George; 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren; two sisters: Rosie Barker of Watertown and Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Schwendy of Carthage, one brother: Carl (Louise) Pignone of Black River, a sister-in-law, Candace Pignone of Carthage and several nieces and nephews.

Three brothers, Michael, James and Anthony Pignone Jr., and a sister, Lena Abrams, all died before her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Donald A. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
