Puerto Rico man facing charges after altercation at Montague Inn, deputies say

LOWVILLE, NYBladimir Torres Morales, 26, Puerto Rico, was charged by Lewis County sheriff’s deputies at about 1:05 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Montague Inn with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

Deputies said they responded to a physical altercation involving a knife. Further details were not provided.

He was arraigned in Lowville Village Court and sent to the Lewis County Jail to be held without bail.
