WATERTOWN, NY — Rachael M. Howard, 68, Watertown, passed away at her residence Tuesday, Feb. 26, where she was surrounded by her family & under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County.
Born Dec. 7, 1950, in Malone, NY, a daughter to Joseph and Eva (Shorette) Mulverhill, she was educated locally.
She worked in the sanitation department for Watertown City School District.
On June 4, 1966. she married Charles W. Howard, Sr. Mr. Howard passed away March 10, 2018.
Rachael enjoyed music, making people laugh, sports (particularly the New York Yankees), spending time with her family, and being “wild and crazy.”
She is survived by her children: Eva Ballenger of Watertown, Charles W. Howard, Jr. of Watertown, William and Cathy Howard of Watertown, Julie and Kevin Brown of Texas. She is also survived by a brother, John Griffin of Carthage, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Charles, she is predeceased by her siblings: Katherine Hughes, Marion Gebo, Jean Mulverhill, and Jane Mulverhill.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
