MEMPHIS, TN — Samuel V. Fitchette, 32, formerly of Watertown, NY, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018.
Born Dec. 19, 1985, in Watertown, a son of Richard S. and Carrie L. Ormiston Fitchette, he graduated in 2004 from Immaculate Heart Central High School, Watertown, NY.
He married Amber Thayer on July 27, 2006, in Watertown, NY.
Samuel worked at various restaurants in NY and TN, most recently he was an assistant chef at the Blue Monkey, Memphis, TN.
He enjoyed playing baseball in high school, fishing, playing the bass guitar and was involved in entertainment productions.
Survivors include his wife, Amber Fitchette, and two children, Cameron Fitchette and Calleigh Fitchette; his father, Richard S. Fitchette and his wife, Joni, Malone, NY; his mother, Carrie L. Freeman and her husband, Jeffery, Carthage, NY; a brother, Nathan Fitchette and his companion, Karen Ovitt, Buffalo, NY; a half-sister, Jillian Fitchette, Malone, NY; a half-brother, Vaughn Fitchette; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY.
There will be a graveside service in Brookside Cemetery, Plessis, NY at a later date.
