WATERTOWN, NY — The funeral service for Shirley M. Davis-Majo, 64, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Deacon Mike Allen officiating. Burial will be held at a date and time convenient to the family. A calling hour will precede the service at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Shirley passed away at her residence Tuesday, Aug. 28.
Born May 11, 1954, in Watertown, Shirley was a daughter to Alfred Jr. and Dorothy (LaMarche) Davis.
Following a local education, Shirley graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a beautician.
Shirley also worked at Stature Electric, Indian River School District, Nice N’ Easy, Colesantes, and Car Freshener.
She is survived by her daughter: Sarah Sykes of Dexter; a grandson: Dylan Sykes; her siblings: Nancy Davis-Cook, Vernon (Maryann) Davis, Larry Davis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
