Travel advisory: Paving of outer Washington Street in town of Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY — Please be advised that around 6 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, crews will begin milling operations on US Route 11 (Washington Street) in the City of Watertown in anticipation of paving. Work limits are between the Watertown City Limits and the intersection of US Route 11 and State Route 232.

Milling is expected to occur between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and those traveling through the area should expect minor delays during work hours. Milling work is expected to be complete by the end of Wednesday, September 12.

Paving operations are set to begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, September 17 and will continue until 6 p.m. each day with work expected to be complete by the end of the week, weather permitting. Motorists should expect minor delays during work hours.
