Two men accused of possessing drugs, Watertown police say

WATERTOWN, NY — Two men were arrested late Sunday night, May 20, at 615 Academy St., apt. 2, for allegedly possessing a controlled substance, according to the Watertown Police Department.

Kevin T. Maguire, 30, of 17193 County Route  156, Watertown, was charged at 11:21 p.m. Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is accused of possessing a clear plastic vile which contained methamphetamine, police said.

Ramsey K. Towles, 28, of 615 Academy St., Apt. 2, Watertown, was charged at 11:21 p.m. Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is accused of possessing two Alprazolam pills which were located in plain view on his stove, police said.

Both men are ordered to appear June 6 in City Court.
