Watertown man accused of shoplifting women’s leggings, bottle of beer

WATERTOWN, NYSergio Cisneros, 51, of 1005 State St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:14 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on Public Square with petit larceny.

Mr. Cisneros is accused of stealing a 25-ounce Bud Light beer valued at $2.04 and a pair of black Blue Star women’s leggings valued at $7.99 when he concealed the items in his shorts and exited Kinney Drugs, 905 Coffeen St., with out attempting to pay at about 12:04 p.m. July 4, police said.

He was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said he possessed three 1 mg pills of Lorazepam in his left shorts pocket.

He is summoned to appear Aug. 8 in City Court.
