Watertown man accused of threatening woman with baton, punching her thigh during domestic incident

WATERTOWN, NYJustin M. Duffield, 29, of 548 LeRay St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at his residence with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Duffield is accused of “wielding a collapsible baton in close proximity to Kelly A. Hickey, 30, during a domestic incident when he raised it in the air in a aggressive manner causing her to believe she was going to be struck with it,” at about 10:23 p.m. Wednesday at their home, according to court documents.

He also allegedly struck her in the left high with a closed first, police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
