WATERTOWN, NY — Brian K. Denehy, 47, of 400 Brainard St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:56 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 414 Clay St. with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
He is accused of taking a 2006 Hyundai Tuscon from a driveway at 400 Brainard St. without the consent of the owner, Bridget Finley, at about 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, police said. “The defendant also refused to return said vehicle upon the victim’s request,” according to court documents.
He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
