Watertown woman accused of punching 11-year-old girl in ribs, police say

WATERTOWN, NY — Heather N. Freeman, 34, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 12A, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:05 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at 232 W. Main St. with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Ms. Freeman is accused of pulling an 11-year-old to the ground and punched her in the ribs while intoxicated at about 9:32 p.m. Thursday at 232 W. Main St., according to court document. The incident caused the child to suffer a panic attack, police said.

She was being held pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court.
