Watertown woman charged with aggravated DWI in Sackets Harbor

SACKETS HARBOR, NY — Cassandra L. Weed, 30, of 25595 County Route 160, Watertown, was charged by the Sackets Harbor police at 12:58 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, on East Main Street with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Her blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater.

She was also cited with refusal to take a breath test, driving across hazard markings, failure to keep right, and failure to signal a turn.

She is summoned to appear Sept. 18 in Hounsfield Town Court.
