Woman arrested for attempting to damage state police vehicle

PLATTSBURGH — On Feb. 1, 2019, at approximately 8:15 p.m., State Police responded to a residence on Colby Road in the town of Beekmantown, for an unrelated investigation.

While on scene, Michelle, L. Duso, 48, of Plattsburgh was arrested after she intentionally punched a marked State Police patrol car, attempting to break the windows, troopers said. She was found to be highly intoxicated, troopers said. No damage occurred as a result.  While attempting to take Duso into custody, she physically resisted, troopers said.

She was charged with Attemted Criminal Mischief 4th degree, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.

Duso was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Beekmantown Court.
