Woman facing criminal mischief charge for cutting reclining chair with large kitchen knife, according to court papers

WATERTOWN, NY — Lula M.M. Collins-McCarrell, 28, of 624 Gotham St., upper apt., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 2:11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, at her residence with fourth-degree criminal mischief. She is accused of damaging a reclining chair valued at $25 belonging to Billy M. McCarrell, 33, by cutting the back of the chair with a large kitchen knife causing a large slash in the seat back and on the seat bottom at about 1:51 a.m. Thursday during an incident in their apartment, according to court documents. She was being held pending arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
