Woman struck another in head with beer bottle at Watertown tavern, police say

WATERTOWN, NY — Shannon C. Casler-Fayette, 28, of 31097 US Route 11, Philadelphia, was charged by Watertown police at 10:38 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in the 500 block of State Street with disorderly conduct, second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

She is accused of striking Kristie R. Murrah, 45, Watertown, with a beer bottle causing a laceration to her head at about 10:31 p.m. Friday at Double Deuce Tavern, 560 State St., according to court documents.

Police also allege she yelled ‘f— this,” “f— everyone” and “f— you” while making unreasonable noise in front of the 1869 Tavern despite requests by patrols to quiet down at about 10:36 p.m. Friday.

She was arraigned Saturday morning in Town of Watertown Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at $5,000 cash.
