CARTHAGE, NY — Wynette Francine Russell, 69, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo.
Calling hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 8, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Graveside services will be held in Brownville Cemetery in the spring at a day and time to be announced.
Born July 7, 1949, in Watertown, a daughter to Stephen A. and Marian Griffin DeRouchie, she was a graduate of Watertown High School and
She was as a homemaker.
On July 30, 1977, she married Steve Russell.
Wynette enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving besides her husband, Steve, are her children: Tina (Michael) McGehee of Texas, Todd Cook of Depauville, Troy (Michelle) Cook Depauville, Brad Russell and fiancée Jackie Smith of Chaumont; and her siblings: Donald of Ottawa, Steve “Sonny” (Elsie) of Renssalaer Falls, Gary (Carol) of Lacey, Washington, Ronald (Helen) of Brownville, Vionne Nelson, Valdalles, Oregon, Kay Hunter of Sackets Harbor, Teresa (Gary) Riggle of Bellfonte, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Wynette was predeceased by four siblings, Gerard DeRouchie, Sue Brown, Nancy and Doug DeRouchie.
