Man accused of selling stolen iPhone

WATERTOWN, NY —  Travis C. Snyder, 32, of 695 Mill St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Mr. Snyder is accused of possessing an Apple iPhone belonging to Janica A. Rivera, 24, of 691 Mill St., Watertown, when he sold the phone at Walmart using a kiosk and collected $120 for the phone which is valued at $609.99 on June 13, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Sunday in City Court.
