On March 15, 2020, at approximately 1:05 a.m., State Police responded to a reported UTV crash at 36988 State Route 3 in the town of Wilna, Jefferson County.
The preliminary investigation has revealed, 26-year-old Christopher J. Gamble was operating a 2017 Polaris UTV, along with two passengers, on his own property when he lost control of the UTV, causing it to overturn. Gamble was partially ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. The two additional passengers were transported to Upstate University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
