3 arrested after drug raid of High Street apartment, police say

WATERTOWN, NY — On Tuesday, March 26, members of the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 303 High St., upstairs apartment, in the city of Watertown.

The Task Force has received numerous complaints about drugs being sold from this location over the past several weeks, police said.

The Task Force was assisted by members of the Watertown Police Department SRT, road patrol, and ID units.

The house was occupied by five adults when entry was made, police said.

The search warrant was signed City Judge Eugene R. Renzi.

At the conclusion of the search warrant the following items were seized from the house, police said:

– $2795.00 in US currency.
– 37 grams of cocaine.
– 4 grams of crack cocaine.
– 12 doses of heroin.
– Several other unidentified substances packaged for sale.
– A small amount of marijuana.
– Packaging material and assorted drug paraphernalia.

During this investigation information was developed illegal drugs were being sold from this location which led to this undercover drug investigation and subsequent search warrant, police said.

Arrested as a result of this investigation:

Jamie J. Woodard, 39, of 303 High St., Watertown
one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

Duncan A. Woodard, 20, of 303 High St., Watertown
one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

Jireh D. Finney, 26, of 935 State St., Watertown
one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

Ducan Woodard and Jireh Finney are both currently under the supervision of
NYS Division Parole. They were arraigned in Pamelia Town Court in front of the Honorable Judge Cassleman. Both were remanded to Jefferson County Jail with cash bail set at $20,000 cash each.

Jamie Woodard is currently being held at Jefferson County Jail and will be
arraigned March 27 in City Court.

As this investigation continues, additional charges are pending.
