41-year-old Watertown man charged with burglary, resisting arrest

WATERTOWN, NY —   Marc R. Warner, 41, of 104 Creekwood Dr., Apt. 8, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:27 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at 232 W. Main St., with second-degree burglary, a felony, fourth-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.

Mr. Warner is accused of unlawfully entering 232 W. Main St., Apt. 2, and throwing a ceramic wax warmer valued at $5 causing it to shatter when it landed on the floor at about 1:15 a.m. Friday, police said. The item belongs to Tabitha A. Beach, 28, and Jeremy F. Snyder, according to court documents.

Warner also allegedly attempted to elbow a police officer in the face while being placed under arrest, refused to provide his hands for handcuffing by placing them underneath his body and pulled away in an attempt to avoid being handcuffed at about 1:24 a.m. Friday, police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court.
