WATERTOWN, NY — Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Sept. 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a social hour followed at 6 p.m. by dinner.
Jim Scordo, Credo’s founding executive director, will then present the keynote address for the evening. The celebration will conclude with a silent auction. Admission for the event is $50 and must be prepaid. Organized in 1973, Credo Community Center is a leading substance abuse treatment and mental health provider in Northern New York with more than 100 dedicated professionals offering transformative programs suited for every individual. Credo’s mission statement is: “Transforming lives through quality treatment.”
This event will highlight Credo’s essential work in this region over the past five decades. Staff members and supporters also will focus on the group’s future. Businesses and individuals may sponsor this event at various levels.
