WATERTOWN, NY — John R. Sugrue, 82, of 142 Mechanic St., Apt. 609, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at 142 Mechanic St. with second-degree harassment.
Mr. Sugrue is accused of throwing water from a bottle on Jeph N. Smith, 57, during a verbal altercation while threatening to him at about 6:00 p.m. Sept. 15 at 142 Mechanic St., police said.
He is summoned to appear Oct. 17 in City Court.
