Anne L. Patterson, 82, formerly of Three Mile Bay

CORINTH, NY — Anne L. Patterson, 82, of Angel Road, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Saratoga Hospital following a long illness.

Born on March 15, 1940, in Clayton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marguerite (Brown) Rivers.

Anne attended Clayton High School and then graduated from Laponto Cosmetology School in Syracuse. She then worked for many years as a cosmetologist, and owned and operated her own shops, Anne’s Hair Boutique in Three Mile Bay and also in Waterford.

She married Robert J. Patterson on July 13, 1983, in Charlotte, Tenn. The couple resided in Tennessee for five years and then in the Waterford area, before moving in 1993 to their current home in Corinth.

Anne was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Corinth and former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She loved being a cosmetologist and enjoyed camping, crafting, her dog, “Bucky”, and her grandchildren. Also, one thing that Anne was very proud of was beating cancer.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased 10 siblings, Harold, Thomas, William, Robert, James, Marilyn, Ruth, Vernice, Bessie, Patricia.

Survivors besides her loving husband of 38 years include 10 children, Randy Dollinger (Dinah) of Corinth, Donald Dollinger (Debbie) of Omaha, NE, Sandra Lawton (Mickey) of Watertown, Fredericka Hudson (Paul) of Kingston, Ont, Lorna Dollinger of Buffalo, Scott Dollinger of Rome, NY, Donna Fairchild (Gil) of Syracuse, Barbara Debolt (David) of Baldwinsville, Bobby Patterson (Tammy) of Ballston Spa, Shiloh Patterson (Nicky) of Lake Luzerne; 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; two siblings, Frances Bennett of Watertown and Terry Burns of Clayton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Anne’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to thank Carli Woodard, Isabel Dunbar, Sunny Patterson, and Sandra Lawton for their devotion and help with Anne’s care and needs and also Dr. John Pezzulo for his kindness and medical care given to Anne during her illness.
