Annual Shop with a Cop program to be held Dec. 11

WATERTOWN, NY ––   Jefferson County Sheriff Colleen O’Neill proudly announces the Annual “Shop with a Cop” program is scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 2021. Children from across Jefferson County have been selected and parents/guardians have been notified.

Each child will be paired with one of our volunteers (a Deputy Sheriff, Police Officer, Correctional Officer, Probation Officer, Fire Fighter, Paramedic…etc.) from surrounding agencies. The children will be taken from the Public Safety Building in emergency vehicles to the Route 3 Wal-Mart to shop for Christmas with a Wal-Mart gift card.  When the children have completed their shopping, they will be transported to Sam’s Club to enjoy a pizza party and receive gifts from Santa.
