Arsenal Street paving to begin Monday

WATERTOWN, NY — Beginning around 6 p.m. Monday, August 13, crews will begin nighttime milling operations on State Route 3 (Arsenal Street) in the City of Watertown in anticipation of paving. Work limits will be between the I-81 overpass and Raymour Plaza.

Milling is expected to occur between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. and those traveling through the area should expect minor delays as traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction during work hours. Milling work is expected to be complete by Friday, August, 17.

Paving operations are set to begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 20 and will continue until 6 a.m. each day with work expected to be complete by Thursday, August 23. Motorists should expect minor delays as traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction during work hours.

Variable Message Signs will be set up along the route prior to the beginning of operations alerting motorists of the work.  Please drive carefully through every highway and bridge construction zone encountered.
