On Friday January 5, 2018 Beverly H. Champlin passed away at the age of 88.
Beverly was residing in the Village of St Edwards memory care and nursing home
in Fairlawn, Ohio where she moved to from Watertown, NY in March of 2017.
Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Roger (Patricia) (Copley,
OH), Richard (Dayton, OH), Melody Brenon (Watertown, NY) and Marie Fuhrken
(Sparks, NV). Beverly has 12 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren and her love
for these children could always be seen in that special smile, when the kids were
around her. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Augustus in August
of 2015. They were celebrating 67 years of marriage that year. Beverly
graduated from Henderson High school in 1947. Mom will always be remembered
for her unselfish caring for her husband and family. Mom always enjoyed packing
the family camping gear and heading out for summer weekends in the
surrounding New York State Parks. Beverly worked as the bookkeeper for the Gus
Champlin Fence Construction Co for the many years that the family business was
in operation. Beverly was a member of the Henderson Historical Society where
she assisted in activities. A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Jonas will be
celebrated in memory of Beverly on Monday May 7, 2018 @10:00 AM at Our Lady
of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 320 W Lynde St. Watertown, NY 13601. The
family welcomes friends to attend the service and a luncheon reception at the
Italian American Club (Bellew Ave) following burial at Glenwood Cemetery.
