CARTHAGE, NY — Carthage Savings and Loan Association is pleased to announce its plans to establish a branch office in the Village of Croghan.
Croghan and the surrounding areas have always been an important part of the Carthage Savings family and history. We are excited to bring our personal level of service to the Croghan community, supported by a solid digital platform.
We are working diligently to achieve the goal of having a temporary branch in operation by the end of May.
Staff is also researching permanent locations and options that can accommodate the local communities’ banking needs today and in the future.
As part of this project, the Association intends to work with the local municipalities to establish a Banking Development District. This designation will be important to the community and success of the office.
We welcome ideas that will allow us to partner with the community to deliver
positive impact as a result this expansion.
We would like to invite our neighbors to open accounts online at carthagesavings.com or visit our Carthage office to establish their membership as soon as possible. Our staff is ready to assist in the transition and looks forward to building these new relationships.
We would also like to thank the members of the Croghan community for your positive response to our recent feasibility survey. This, along with other considerations, played a major role in our decision to establish an office in the Croghan area.
