LAFARGEVILLE, NY —Â Cheryl L. Wright, 59, of 20268 Ford St., LaFargeville, passed away Sept. 4, 2019, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 29, 1960, in Watertown, NY, daughter of Robert and Sally (Jewett) Elliott.
She married Teddy Papin of LaFargeville, the marriage ended in divorce. She then married Lyle Wright of Watson. The couple resided in Watertown where and he worked for the Army Air Force Exchange Services on Fort Drum up until he passed away on Jan. 1, 2011.
Cheryl was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, Yahtzee, spending time with her grandchildren and family. In October of 2017 she moved to LaFargeville where she has resided with her daughter for the past two years.
Among her survivors are three children, Savarah and Tyler McCargar, LaFargeville, Brandy and Shawn Sanderson, LaFargeville, Derrick and Marquita Papin, LaFargeville; 11 grandchildren, Arianna, Mason, Aidan, Lillie, Ila, Sadie, Kaylee, Jarred, Nicholas, Brittany and Madalyn; three step children, Becky McRae, Lowville, Ricky McLane, Glenfield, Melissa Edwards, NH; five step grandchildren, Michael, Tiffany, Travis Jr., Keira and Sarah, her six siblings, Robin Elliott, GA, Robert and Mary Elliott, VA, Kathy Jewett, Copenhagen, Ricky Elliott, Watertown, Sandra Cummings, Michigan, and Kimberly and Jeff Pierce, NY; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Craig Elliott.
Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, 117 N. Massey St., Watertown.
