City of Watertown to host walkable communities expert Mark Fenton for public presentation and walkabout

WATERTOWN, NY — The City of Watertown, in association with the Tug Hill Commission, will host Mark Fenton, a national public health, planning and transportation consultant, for a Complete Streets public presentation and walkabout.

The event will take place from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday May 14, 2019, beginning in Council Chambers at City Hall before moving outside for an educational walk around downtown Watertown. This event is open to the public.

Mr. Fenton is also an adjunct associate professor at the Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Medford and Somerville, MA. More details about Mr. Fenton’s work are available at his website, www.markfenton.com.
