Clayton man accused of possessing meth at Watertown business

WATERTOWN, NYAnthony J. Lopez, 34, of 110 Rivershore Dr., Clayton, was charged by Watertown police at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Walgreen’s, 1655 State St., with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Mr. Lopez is accused of possessing two clear plastic bags with a substance which tested positive for meth inside his backpack, police said.

He is summoned to appear July 3 in City Court.
