Copenhagen man charged with forcible touching, deputies say

COPENHAGEN, NY —  Casimir W. Bigda, 40, of 10171 Washington St., Copenhagen, was charged early Monday, Jan. 13, with forcible touching, a misdemeanor, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies allege Bigda groped the “intimate areas of the victim’s body twice without the victim’s consent,” at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12.

Bigda was arraigned in Denmark Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is ordered to appear in court at a later date.
