WATERTOWN, NY — The funeral for David D. Brasie will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Rev. John Petit officiating. Calling hours will precede the service noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Spring burial will be held in Black River Cemetery.
David passed away at Hospice of Jefferson County Friday, December 14 th . He was 56 years old.
Born Oct. 29, 1962, in Carthage, a son of William and Evva (Peck) Brasie. He was educated locally, and worked for the Disabled Persons Action Organization for 30 years.
He married Laura Hosmer on Aug. 22, 1987, at the Watertown Church of God.
David enjoyed watching professional wrestling, home videos, weight lifting, and spending time with his family.
Surviving besides his wife, Laura, and father, William, are three daughters, Jamie, Amber, Cassandra (Cory) Walters; a sister, Rose Leponto; and two brothers, Billy and Bernie.
