CLAYTON, NY —Â Â Dean M. Neumann, 61, Clayton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Utica.
Born March 10, 1961, in Perth Amboy, NJ, a son of Donald and Amelia Klc Neumann, he attended local schools. He moved to Florida in the late 1970s.
He met and then married Lori J. Waterson on Oct. 10, 1987, at Omar United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Barton officiating. The couple returned to the River after their marriage.
Dean worked for various contractors and was currently on the maintenance and events staff at the Harbor Hotel, Clayton, since 2012.
He was a former member of the Clayton Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of the Fishers Landing Racing Club. He enjoyed NASCAR.
Along with his wife, Lori, Dean is survived by a brother Donald Neumann and wife Brenda, St. Petersburg, FL; sister Deborah Snelling and husband Larry, Pinellas Park, FL; mother-in-law Iris Waterson, Fishers Landing; two brothers-in-law, Robert Waterson and wife Cynthia, Wellesley Island and Ronald Waterson and wife Charlotte, Fishers Landing; two nieces and two nephews, Travis Snelling and wife Natalie, Reed Waterson, Kyra McGrath and husband Brian, and Claire Waterson; and four great nephews.
As per his wishes, there are no services.
