WATERTOWN, NY —Â Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a collision between a tractor trailer and sedan that occurred shortly after 4:50 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lane of Interstate 81 near the Arsenal Street off-ramp in the town of Watertown. Deputies reported the sedan went about 50 feet off the highway through fencing before stopping near a utility pole. One person was taken by Guilfoyle Ambulance to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment. Deputies have not released further details at this time.
