CANTON, NY — Lyndsay E. Shenkle, 39, of 3470 US Highway 11, DeKalb Junction, was charged Jan. 29 by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies aggravated driving while intoxicated following a property damage accident on US Highway 11 in the town of DeKalb.
Deputies said her blood alcohol content was 0.31 percent. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater.
She is summoned to appear in DeKalb Town Court at a later date.
