Doris I. Keddy, 82, formerly of Carthage

CARTHAGE, NY — Doris I. Keddy, 82, formerly of Carthage, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA. Doris moved to Washington 3 years ago to be near her son, David.

Doris was born on Dec. 18, 1936, in West Carthage, the daughter of the late Francis and Kitty (Mitchell) Dionne. She attended West Carthage High School.

She worked in the Converting Department of the former Crown Zellerbach Corp. for 19 years, retiring in January of 1993.

She married Ronald K. Keddy on Dec. 1, 1974, at the Carthage United Methodist Church. Ronald died on March 6, 2005. She was previously married to Louis Pardy and Earl Kimball.

She was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 7227 of Carthage.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine Pardy of New Hampshire, three sons: David Pardy of Orting, WA, Richard L. Pardy of Rome and Jerry A. Kimball of Mexico, NY; a step daughter, Patrice L. Knowlton of Glens Falls,15 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren, a brother, Ronald Dionne of Actworth, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Dionne, 3 sisters, Madeline Davidowski, Sally Fox and Ida Rivers, a step son, Craig Keddy and two step daughters, Luella Trefry and Rhonda Reidy.

Services will be held in the spring at a time and date to be announced in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage.
