WATERTOWN, NY — Edward S. Hirch, 53, Watertown, passed away suddenly Sunday evening, Feb. 3, in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center.
Born July 29, 1965, in Ridgewood, NY, the son of Herbert and Ellen Cobari Hirch, he graduated from General Brown Central School and attended JCC for Hospitality.
He married Lucinda A. Burlingame on July 23, 2005, in Watertown.
Edward worked for several years at Price Chopper in Watertown and recently was a cook at IHOP in Watertown.
He enjoyed traveling, watching movies and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife Lucinda, his mother Ellen Hirch of Dexter and three sisters: Ellen Harrell and Scott Mitchell of Limerick, Patty and Randall Bischoff of Watertown and Julia and Mark VanSchaick of Clayton. He also has nieces, nephews and cousins surviving.
A funeral Mass is tentatively scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Immaculate Conception Church of Brownville. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in the spring at Brownville Cemetery.
